Frozen Orbituary: The Death of Rolling 'Greed' {WoW}

Mar 9th 2010 6:18AM I have always rolled "Need" on Frozen Orbs, simply because I do need them. I just figure that if anyone else needed them too, they would just roll "Need" as well. Makes sense doesn't it? Rolling need on something you need? I would always roll up front though, if others rolled need, oh well - you get that, but if they greeded, stiff.

Maintenance extended [Updatedx6] {WoW}

Feb 9th 2010 6:36PM @Devv "People who have taken the time to remove our heads from our asses apparently aren't very popular around here." Nah, it's not so much that, as people who carry on like idiots, as you so graciously demonstrated in your reply. "You're a complete moron" ? Just because *you* think he's wrong? Didn't mummy ever teach you how to be civilised when conversing with others? Further, this stopped being an "educated discussion" when you started running YOUR mouth off in your posts. And didn't I see you tell someone to stop running their mouth off? Hypocritical, when that's basically all you've done. Evantill is spot on, you can correct someone, and even make a point without sounding like a total arsehole. Might wanna get started on that Google search, 'how not to be an ass'.

Respect, and civility, truly are lost arts.

Love Is In the Air FAQ {WoW}

Feb 6th 2010 10:14PM It will take you a few days at least to get all the achievements for the meta. You need "Love Tokens" you get from doing dailies to purchase things like the Love Fool and Box of Chocolates, among others, which you need for some of the achievements. You can only get a limited number of Love Tokens per day. Also, I'll mention that it looks like players under level 80 wont be able to get the meta achievement due to certain restrictions which is kinda sucky. One that springs to mind is the Pity the Love Fool (which is part of the meta) achievement or whatever it's called, where you have to drop a Love Fool and do a /pity emote at it - you have to drop one *inside* Naxx, and it seems you have to be minimum level 80 to enter Naxx thus making that achievement and by extension, the meta, unattainable for sub-80's.

Officers' Quarters: Ragequit fallout {WoW}

Oct 5th 2009 7:56PM @theRaptor:

You really have an overt fondness for the word "shit", don't you? Lol! I agree though, some people I have come across in this game in particular, I have just wanted to strangle. People think that just because we can't see each other, that entitles them to a free "be rude to everyone" licence. It's, quite honestly, dispicable.

WoW Rookie: A computer to love WoW with {WoW}

Sep 29th 2009 7:56PM In my post above, I stated that I am currently playing WoW on a very sub-par laptop, it's specs seem to be on a par with yours and mine runs it just fine. 15fps is lower than what I get with my laptop in Azeroth, while Outland and Northrend are a bit harder on it, but still not too noticeable imo. The exception to this is Dalaran. On mine, it runs ok but is slow. Especially during peak times it's rather choppy in Dalaran, but hey, I can live with it. I have all my graphics options turned down and unless you're used to having everything look the best, everything set to the highest resolution and what not, I assure you, you're not going to be able to notice a lot of difference unless you start scrutinising terrain up close. If you can live with the settings turned down, you'll be fine.
