Jun 17th 2007 11:49AM The guild I'm in doesn't required people to spec to the guild's needs. Granted it's a more casual guild, but we raid and PvP a lot as well. We each make our spec work for its purpose. The way the guild leader sees it, "We don't pay for you to play so we have no right to tell you how to play." You gear and spec the way you want and it just works for us that way.
Jun 14th 2007 10:25AM You know every time I see an aloe plant the first thing that comes to mind is Swiftthistle.
I also find myself thinking in gold rather than dollars too.
I sometimes think how great it would be to use intimidating shout on people I just don't want bothering me. FEAR ME!!! Mwahahahah
Apr 16th 2007 10:10AM I agree with Ampersand about making the guild stronger when you get to know the people you are in your guild. Though I don't know my guildies by their first name, I do like to consider them my friends. There are plenty of things to talk about in game, whether it be strictly game related or RL. I have several characters and not all of them are in the same guild, so I know where I can talk about certain things and who I can talk to about them in each one. Besides, it helps make the grinding and questing go along a bit faster when you have someone to chat with.
Mar 20th 2007 8:55AM I'd buy several of those murloc plushies if they were available. Then I'd hug them all and laugh in mass hysteria. I mean honestly, even though it is probably the most annoying sound in WoW and it can't possibly be spelled it is the most recognized by all who play the game.
@1 Great idea on the bookmarks! I too read quite a bit and it's just so hard to find the right bookmark out there.
@3 I agree completely with your opinion on murlocs. They all must die, but you have to admit that they are hilarious when you do encounter them. As for the ringtone...another brilliant idea. I'd download it in a second!
@5 You're Horde and you have no idea about the whole murloc thing? Please tell me you are kidding.
Mar 19th 2007 9:01AM I was in a guild where it was the norm to give gifts to newcomers and anyone who needed mats for training, or just needed a better weapon or piece of armor. I've also been known to make dragonscale armor for friends at no cost to them.
Also, whenever I come across something that I think would be beneficial to a guildmate, I ask to see if anyone needs it and send it their way. It pays to be nice to people because you never know when you need a hand with something yourself :)
Feb 25th 2007 7:47AM I was in UC and came up to the top to run to the zeppelin. Upon running out of the elevator I came across a Night Elf and a Gnome laying dead in the hallway. Their names were "Hordesmells" and "Likepoo". Needless to say I LOLed. That image is still stuck i nmy head til this day.
