Jun 10th 2010 11:16AM I have a question:
I know that 'downranking' (or whatever it is called) is not an optimal idea for Leather, Mail, and Plate wearers. However, what is the point of allowing them to do it? I am very tempted to grab pieces of cloth gear for my Holy Pally, even though I am missing out on the armor. However, on my priest, I am unable to even think about making this armor 'downrank'. If they (meaning Blizzard Dev Team) do not expect Plate/Mail/Leather wearers to want downranked gear, why even give them the proficiency? Why not specify that Paladins can only wear Mail and Plate? And Druids only Leather? Etc.
May 27th 2010 11:16AM This reminds me of my buddy whose first character was a Warlock. I remember he was about 35, and started freaking out. I asked him what had happened, he had died for the first time!
He didn't know what to do, or how to resurrect himself. I was playing a Hunter at the time, and I had no grasp on aggro, so I died alot. This is way back in vanilla.
May 12th 2010 12:45PM Anyone else notice the bandage? 34k damage? That is 7 times more than what the current bandages are doing...
Apr 30th 2010 5:43PM It also looks like Warcraft II Battle.net will finally be available for digital download... I wish I could find my copy.
Apr 9th 2010 9:07AM Holy Orb
Casting Holy Orb creates a buff on the healer for 5 charges. Every time a player comes within 5 yards of the healer, that player receives a charge. If/When that player has received more that 5% damage off their health, the orb will 'pop' and create a HOT for X damage. If not all the healing damage is used, it will become a new orb, and jump to another player just like the first jump. This buff will last for 2 minutes or until all the healing is done.
Oct 19th 2009 9:50AM Actualy, Un'goro Crater is a reference to a real life animal conservatory in Tanzania, called the Ngorongoro Crater. I accidentally laughed at a coworker who does not place wow, when he mentioned that he used to vacation there as a child!
Aug 27th 2009 9:10AM I definitely thought this was going to be an article about people who are like my friend who just started the game. You know the type, I ask him to trade me something, then he opens up a trade window and proceeds to place the item in the "Will not be Traded" section of the window!
