Mar 1st 2010 3:50AM It will be interesting to see what happens when the gnomes / goblins come up with nukes in WoW. The Sundering and The Cataclysm? Nothing compared to the result of nuclear war between the Alliance and Horde.

But the best way to kill bosses in Icecrown is to kite them to Vael's room.
Sep 28th 2009 1:19AM When I first saw confirmation that Garrosh was going to become the new horde leader and what he was going to do, I was like, "DUBYA-TEE-EFF BLIZZ." But for me, this kind of has a silver lining:
I have always hated Garrosh as a character since TBC when he was a whiney-emo who lives in his grandma's house. When I found out that he was going to be Thrall's advisor and that Eitrigg was going off to the Argent Crusade, I was pissed even more but I always felt that he was Thrall's foil in a way.
Now that he's the new warchief, I want him to die... badly. And while he's hellbent on kicking the less masculine members of the horde out of Orgrimmar and completely wiping out the alliance like any other self-respecting LOTR or Warhammer orc would (much to my disapproval as "civilized orcs" were actually what made WoW feel new and different from those MMOs), what I am almost positive will happen, and what I am referring to by "silver lining," is that practically everyone will have something against him, and a reason to either kill him or usurp the position of Warchief of the Horde from his grasp.
Think about it; the Darkspear Trolls were promised a home with The Horde by Thrall, and Garrosh suddenly says, "Disregard that, you're weaklings so GTFO." You really think that after all those years of friendship with Thrall's Horde that they are just going to be okay with that? The Darkspear Trolls will probably want Garrosh gone and Thrall back.
The Forsaken will be just as bitter about this if not worse because they will no longer have an advantageous position of spying on the Horde to accomplish their own ends. Under Thrall's leadership, they were trusted and even forgiven for the debacle at the Wrathgate when they explained their position; Thrall was willing to listen to them, and made it his top priority to reclaim Undercity. Now Garrosh wants to act as if what happened at the Wrathgate was their fault by kicking them out of Orgrimmar? With Arthas gone (assuming he really is gone after WotLK), I think we all know who they're going to have a bone to pick with next when these events unfold.
Blood Elves will probably be the least concerned (I could be wrong) of the four horde races (notice I say FOUR which means yes, I am including the Tauren and will get to that point in a second), but again, they're not going to simply dismiss this. They worked hard to be accepted into The Horde with help from Sylvanas, and I'd expect that having all that dashed to pieces by the new warchief isn't going to sit well with them. They got their sunwell back and also got revenge on Arthas, but unless there's going to be a change to Ghostlands and Eversong Woods in Cataclysm that basically implies that all the Scourge zombies will be gone from those zones, they're still going to need The Horde's help to fight them back. (especially if they get a new leader after Arthas, which they probably will) If Garrosh says "Screw you, you're too weak to defend Orgrimmar so why should we help you," the only allies the Blood Elves will find are in the Forsaken. (who as we all know already have soldiers working hand-in-hand with the Blood Elves in a faction known as "Tranquillien") If the Forsaken want Garrosh out of the picture just as much as the Trolls, Forsaken, and yes, even the Tauren will, I think they are definitely going to at least provide some support to them in that cause as a "Thank you" gesture for helping them to reclaim their lands.
Speaking of Tauren, despite the fact that Garrosh allows them to stay in Orgrimmar, I strongly doubt that they are going to accept Garrosh's leadership, especially due to one fact: he killed their leader, and in cold blood. If Cairne was accused of being a traitor because he didn't want to go to open, all-out war with the Alliance, I'm sure the Tauren would agree with him; they do avoid war whenever they can afford to, much like Thrall did. If Cairne was killed for that very reason, it would mean Garrosh is also a hypocrite; he would kill their faction leader because he stood for the very things they all stand for, and yet they are allowed to live in the capital city of The Horde? I doubt any of them would accept Garrosh as a warchief simply because of the fact that he killed their leader, at least not if they knew Garrosh did it.
The Alliance is also going to want Garrosh dead because he is the one who pushes The Horde into total war against them. Jaina would never stand for it (assuming she is still alive after Icecrown, I really hope they don't kill her off) and would probably support Varian in getting rid of Garrosh. (possibly hoping Varian also dies in the process so that there can be hope for peace between the Alliance and Horde)
TL;DR: Garrosh Hellscream isn't gonna last past Cataclysm, he is going to get gang-raped.
