The Feral Druid Rips the Undead Warrior

The Feral Druid lunges at Undead Warrior

"Bleed Mor!" shouts the Feral Druid as his frantic Nom Noming causes the Undead Warrior to writh in blood, the Rip wounds reopening over and over again.

After 5 minutes of Nom Nom Noming, the Feral Druid walks away, victorious.

Save the Talent Name! Nom Nom Nom Or Bust!

Cataclysm Class Changes: Druid {WoW}

Apr 10th 2010 12:57AM (Please note, this is from the perspective of a Feral Specced PvP druid. Different specs will have their own opinions.)

"Thrash (Level 81): Thrash deals damage and causes all targets within 10 yards to bleed every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. The intent here is to give bears another button to hit while tanking. Talents will affect the bleed, such as causing Swipe to deal more damage to bleeding targets. 5-second cooldown. 25 Rage."

Buff to AoE tanking. Now we get two buttons to press instead of one! Woot! No PvP use.

"Stampeding Roar (Level 83): The druid roars, increasing the movement of all allies within 10 yards by 40% for 8 seconds. Stampeding Roar can be used in cat or bear form, but bears might have a talent to drop the cooldown. The goal of this ability is to give both bears and cats a little more situational group utility. 3-minute cooldown. No cost."

Could be seen as useful, but to a feral PvPer, it's very underwelhming. 10 yards is nothing, should be increased to 40 or some, to actually make it useful. But because of the long CD, it will almost never be used in PvP. For a quick speed boost, sure, but with the CC's of today it won't matter. Only time I see myself even thinking about this is A) it stacks with Dash, 4piece PvP, and Feral Swiftness. and B) Cd-reducing talent is within a vital PvP talent, aka Nurturing Intinct or some such.
"Wild Mushroom (Level 85): Grows a magical mushroom at the target location. After 4 seconds the mushroom becomes invisible. Enemies who cross the mushroom detonate it, causing it to deal area-of-effect damage, though its damage component will remain very effective against single targets. The druid can also choose to detonate the mushroom ahead of time. This is primarily a tool for the Balance druid, and there will be talents that play off of it. No cooldown. 40-yard range. Instant cast."

More of a fun spell then anything. Yes, it's nice for mines, but notice, it says "deals area of effect damage" You most likely won't be using this to deal any damage in a PvP scenario, exspecially as a feral. In the arena, within 4 seconds they would already see it and know where to avoid, thus making it pretty much useless until you're planting it in the middle of a pile of people in a battleground.

"We plan on giving Feral cats and bears a Kick/Pummel equivalent -- an interrupt that is off the global cooldown and does no damage. We feel like they need this utility to be able to fill the melee role in a dungeon or raid group, and to give them more PvP utility."

Finally. Something useful comes out of an expansion.

"We want to make the Feral cat damage rotation slightly more forgiving. We do not want to remove what druids like about their gameplay, but we do want to make it less punishing to miss, say, a Savage Roar or Rake. The changes here will be on par with increasing the duration of Mangle like we did for patch 3.3.3. "

Please, don't. Feral PvP is already a special section, where only those that put in time and effort into learning the skills and abilities of the feral druid excel. I'd rather not be a FoTm class like *cough* warlocks and *cough* S-priests.

All in all, I'm pretty underwelhmed. Yes, they're buffing Mangle and giving us an interupt, but that's it for feral PvP. An exploding mushroom is only a fun gimmick. Most classes seen so far have had damage buffed, new abilities to use, all of them with a use in PvP. Basically, devoted Ferals will need to learn to counter even more interesting mechanics while getting none of our own to fire back. Yes, I understand, these are not final, and feral PvP isn't the majority of the druid population, and that I should stop QQ'ing, etc. But this is not about that. This is just my honest opinion from the perspective of a person devoted to Feral PvP.

Cataclysm earthquake mobs "visible" in Stormwind {WoW}

Mar 24th 2010 9:58PM In conclusion, these NPC mobs are assumed to be in every server, weren't intended to be seen, are congregated in SW and various other cataclysm areas, and don't want to be disturbed.

That's really all of interest :\

Val'anyr destroyed after lost bet {WoW}

Dec 2nd 2009 3:19PM Note to

Don't try to play a joke on your WoW audience.

50% won't get it until someone tells them,

40% will brag about how they knew it was a joke all along,

and the remained 10% will call it useless garbage and find a way to put you guys and gals down, detailing exactly what they think is wrong with, and then tomorrow will log on and keep reading the same stuff they just ranted about.
