Oct 13th 2009 8:28AM I just loaded up wow just to check that out. Rejoice for penguins! I'm guessing the Chilly from WotLK beta?
Oct 13th 2009 8:25AM I put mine to a bnet account when the battle bots came out cuz I'm a sucker for pets. My friend recently had her account compromised and had to be severed from the hacker's bnet account which was a pain. Personally I'm really excited for the new bnet changes; they're taking all the best things from the likes of Xfire, Xbox Live, and Steam and putting their own Blizz perfectionism into it. It's the internet, it's technology, changes happen!
Sep 2nd 2009 8:31AM I was pointing out that playing wow and using FB does not exclude you from having sex or carrying on a 'normal' life. Millions of people enjoy these things, they are not mutually exclusive. The only reason these sterotypes and stigmas persist is because people let them. As a matter of fact, the majority of my guild do know each other in real life and got started because someone started up a conversation about hobbies > computers > video games > wow. Quite a few of us are married to halfway attractive people. My only baggage is people who are convinced that they are a social minority and are less deserving and able to be treated with respect because their hobby is gaming and not stamp collecting. (Not saying you're one of those people, but several people in this thread act that way.)
Sep 2nd 2009 2:22AM I dunno, I play a lot of WoW and spend a lot of time on FB/Twitter and I have sex all the time. Of course I've been trying to conceive, but that's besides the point. I don't understand where this ideology that people who use the internet = losers who don't have sex. The world is wired, you could be in a third world country and still be able to get satellite internet service. Millions of people play WoW and millions more use Facebook and other social networks like Twitter and MySpace. Are all these millions of people virgins? If you're really that insecure about how you choose to spend your time, you should probably go hang out at a gym or play a sport since that's what you think society is telling you is the 'appropriate' thing to do instead of dumping all your baggage all over an article about an app that people having more sex than you may be interested in.
