Dec 9th 2010 10:20AM Sorry, I looked up and added the new 85 ratings after the article was finished and put that part in the wrong place. Fixed now.
Dec 3rd 2010 11:09PM Yeah, I live near the Percy Priest. Franklin is waaaaay out of the way for me.
Nov 30th 2010 11:02AM I have not yet. I'm planning on re-doing the ret and prot 101 series as the specs have changed drastically in the past couple months since I wrote it.
Otherwise, for Divine Plea you'll usually want to grab those 3 extra holy power right before a pull so that you can get Holy Shield up and running as soon as possible.
Nov 10th 2010 12:52PM I'm the Mysterious one. Logging on at 3 in the morning and keeping mostly to myself.
Oct 28th 2010 11:51AM It's not really a new change. It's something that they've been doing throughout the course of Wrath to help balance out the magic vs physical feel of retribution.
Oct 28th 2010 10:27AM Holy damage resistance still isn't why you're not killing them. You're not killing them, because of their healing and defensive cooldowns.
The question if you go hit the video link was about retribution paladins (not holy) steamrolling through people and that if there was holy damage resistance gear or spells then such things wouldn't be happening. As the developers in the panel pointed out, a lot of ret's holy damage had been converted to physical over the course of Wrath. Holy damage isn't nearly the issue (for retribution) that it used to be and there isn't a reason to give them something that you can resist.
Oct 28th 2010 10:15AM Craaaaaaaap. I made a quick note of "oh! be sure to link this to Righteous Defense when finishing up" while doing the transcript, because I love supporting paladin bloggers. The problem is that you were one of the first ones I actually transcribed and I forgot who it was that asked the question and just presumed when going back and adding all of the formatting.
It's fixed now, but I'm really sorry for the screw up.
I agree with you on the subject of Vengeance, btw. As for missing the point of your question, there were a couple times where I'm not sure they heard enough of the question or didn't get what the person was actually trying to ask. The same thing happens on the forums sometimes when GC responds to someone.
Unfortunately, a lot of these mechanics are still fairly new and I have a feeling that we're going to see some revamps on how they work in 4.1 or sooner.
Oct 24th 2010 12:52AM Sorry about that, but they were the most interesting thing in the closing ceremonies. I'm sure you can read my disappointment in the post above, but I've really got to reiterate that. It just wasn't a good closing to the convention.
Oct 24th 2010 12:45AM A good closing ceremony would have gone a long way to making the convention a little more memorable. However, you're right. It's really an off year for major announcements, but there was a lot of cool little things in development.
