Jan 7th 2011 9:28PM I'm a member of a huge knitting forum/pattern database thingy, where you can make your own groups. I was surprised to see that inside this enormous knitting forum existed a thriving, thoughtful, cutting-edge group with an active forum for WoW enthusiasts (who also knits and crochets, by extension). It has a wild mix of ladies, from young girls to old grandmothers, in every part of the game, from pvp, to casual once-a-week, to progression raiding. It's now the only forum I regularly read when it comes to WoW.
Nov 10th 2010 8:39AM When I'm not doing anything, like long flightpaths or queue times, I knit a few rows in whatever item I'm currently knitting. When I quest along a route I have done a bazillion times before, I often play a video at the same time, with the player on top and covering about half the screen. This works best if the language spoken is one I understand without having to read subs though!
Sep 29th 2010 1:39PM Um, what's the name of the word for things not being the same always? You know, I'm sure there is one. Isn't there? There must be a word for it … the thing that lets you know time is happening. Is there a word?
Apr 20th 2010 8:55PM You HAVE seen the feral kitty flowchart, yes?
It boggles the mind. I've played a druid for ages and ages, and I still can't understand how to do that!
Sep 3rd 2009 9:41AM Using Routes and Gathermate (or another gathering addon) to farm Everfrost Chips is by far the best method of getting rep with the Sons of Hodir. It took perhaps a day or two of flying around in Storm Peaks, there are a lot more nodes of Everfrost Chips than most people realize!
