Dec 12th 2011 2:53AM "I think a comic featuring Alliance folks mainly with little to no Horde would be a great way to expand. A Mage, Warlock pair and the dynamic of that relationship would be pretty neat. Though a Draenai Paladin might be fun too."
I like this idea, especially the Warlock part but it needs more dragons, maybe the pally, lock and mage are hired by Chromie, not that I'm trying to write the story though.
I had a similar idea a while back, the Warlock refused to die, constantly moving his own soul about and was forced to work with the pally to fight off some demons in Felwood. But enough of that.
I'd be just as happy with more Safe Passage I believe.
Oct 23rd 2011 1:45AM If you have to ask about naming your demon, you shouldn't be playing a Warlock because you clearly don't understand the concept of what they do. Feeding them perhaps but you don't own them, they're mercenaries in exchange for power.
Oct 19th 2011 6:49PM Fix- New Faction for all those mistreated races, "called" the Outcasts.
Oct 19th 2011 6:45PM New Faction for all those mistreated races, the the Outcasts.
This year- Naga and Murloc
Next Year- Kobolds and Furbolgs (Hogger will be the race leader of course.)
May 20th 2011 12:30PM Firstly, Rheastrasza is just trying to out do Chromie. I also haven't played much since Cata. came out which rather hurts my argument since it is the "dragon expansion" in my opinion.
I'll buy that the implied intelligence or civilized manner of the alliance might be what draws them in that direction. I suppose disguising themselves as trolls might imply that they support cannibalism or something similar and I shouldn't even have to mention the Forsaken. However I was using Wyrmrest Temple as my source which is supposed to be neutral ground, where you know they're all dragons and its full of humans and Elves. Even the Black Emissary is a human.
Perhaps they choose one form and stick with it, so the black dragons pick on humans most of the time they picked human forms and stick with them so they don't get overwhelmed with aliases. But the point stands that when you have Taurens and Night Elves who stand at about the same spot when it comes to priorities and Ysera the Aspect of nature and the dream which both cherish dearly and Ysera chooses to look like a NE, that must feel like some sort of blow to the Tauren.
Night Elves are probably just more agile and graceful than Tauren and their giant hoofs but still.
Final Note- I'm just having fun with this topic because I was curious where it would go. I'm not really trying to make a point.
May 19th 2011 8:05PM Dragons are clearly racists and too pro-alliance for these rumors about Thrall to ever come to pass. He'll be lucky if they let him shovel draconic droppings. When was the last time you saw a dragon disguised as a Tauren or Troll.
Oh yeah and Nozdormu is pretty awesome since I always considered him to be some cranky old guy yelling at kids to get off his lawn.
Note- I suppose they could just favor the more educated races but that makes less sense than picking them for their looks. I'm also referring to this as a High Elf form not Blood Elf.
May 6th 2011 11:47AM Do you think that perhaps we might get a dragon flight as a playable race? (In a form like Alextraza but more scales.) A new race is probably the last thing on blizzard's list but after this thing with Deathwing is over and with the knowledge that the black flight can be cured of their craziness, I can see them trying to gain their flight some respect afterwords. I mean they Blue dragons were in similar shape to the blacks now, some years ago. Perhaps they'd be a neutral race where you choose your faction.
Apr 23rd 2011 12:33AM I truly hope so and it wouldn't hurt if Vol'jin got some screen time.
That or we could see I don't know see how Deathwing is doing since his flight has been practically decimated and his consort and his (favorite) children are dead, some of them for the second time. But then again he seems to be the type that would only inconvenience his day.
"We never die." Ain't that the unfortunate truth.
Apr 15th 2011 12:17AM In most the fantasy books I've read where summoning demons is performed, knowing the demon's name is required to control it. I don't know if the Warcraft world is the same but I've accepted that reasoning. That and I don't think a Felhunter would take well to being named 'Rex'.
