Oct 6th 2010 7:08AM I should be my Naga TODAY. I could return it, I guess. But dammit!
Oct 22nd 2009 9:33AM Hope I win!
Good luck to all!
Oct 15th 2009 3:35PM The hacking can be stopped at Authentication. Authenticators are inexpensive, and free if you have iPhone/iTouch, and it even extends to other mobile devices but nor sure if at a cost or free as well.
I really am looking forward to this new service. I love Xbox Live, and having the ability to communicate with friends while they are in other games or servers would be awesome. I just hope one can actually decide what Screen name it will show instead of the actual account name. Invisibility mode of some sort would be great for times you don't want anyone bothering you.

Varian's attempts at peace? Jaina has been the one trying to get Varian to come to some understanding with Thrall, but it's been Varian's xenophobic/racism attitude that ruined the one and only time. Now, to be fair to that jerk, Varian has not had the best of life... to a point where I think he is just plain insane from everything that has happened to him. But don't go justifying that jerk as the one trying to bring peace, when all he ever wanted was to erase the Orcs from the face of Azeroth, only now he wishes to wipe the Horde. If Jaina was the one running the Alliance, things might just be different, with perhaps Stormwind fighting alone the Horde.
And I have to agree, the comic had a better interpretation of the fight. There was actually dialogue, the in-game event was a joke, to say the least. I am not saying Thrall whooped Garrosh, because in the end I think Garrosh would lose, but I am saying there was more to that fight than the developers did. Thrall was waging a fight on two fronts, physical which he was on par with Garrosh, and mental, where he was lecturing Garrosh the entire fight. BUT, this fight depends on your point of view. If anyone has seen TMNT, there is a fight that is exactly like Garrosh and Thrall fight, even ends more or less the same. During the fight Leo was lecturing Raph on his attitude, anger, impatience, all the things that Garrosh suffers, but in the end Raph over powered Leo and pinned him to the ground, much like Garrosh overpowers Thrall in game, but the thing is, Raph reflects on what happened and realized how weak and how stupid he was, he realized he did not win that fight with Leo, and proved everything Leo was lecturing him about. Even though he overpowered Leo, he lost. The significance of the comic is just that, it illustrates the fight between Garrosh and Thrall much better, because Thrall was lecturing the entire fight, trying to make Garrosh realize the errors of his ways. You may say Garrosh won, but in reality, and due to the laziness of the Devs for not making it in game like this, Thrall proves in front of the Horde why Garrosh is unfit and his ways wrong. But, before Garrosh has time to reflect, the attack on Ogrimmar occurs.
Garrosh can be a great leader, and Thrall knows this. Garrosh is strong, passionate and loyal to his people to a fault, which is an admirable quality. But he needs patience, compassion and humility if he wants to become as great as a leader as Thrall and Cairne. And if Thrall leaves teh Horde before Garrosh can acquire these traits of a great leader, I don't see the Horde fairing any better than the Alliance with Varian. When those two kindred spirits collide, all hell will break lose. Because that is what they are, Varian and Garrosh are soul mates.

Sep 5th 2009 8:26AM I would not follow Garrosh. Thrall leaving to become Guardian I can understand, while Dalaran is busy fighting Arthas, Jaina and a small group decide to recreate the group, but this time opening it up to other spellcasters as well, not just Mages. And of course Jaina proposed that Thrall be the Shaman ;) My thought is, something bad happens to Jaina. I find no other solution on why Thrall would leave... unless he got tired of the bickering, which would not be like Thrall. The reason I am Horde is because of Thrall and Cairne. In the BlizzCon they showed an awesome picture of Thrall and Cairne saving Horde children from fallen buildings and rubble. THAT is why I am Horde. I despise Alliance cause they have a warmonger that is mad driven by hatred as a King. Sure, Varian lost his wife, that was really sad. And yes, he was a kid when the fel orcs destroyed Stormwind. And yes, he saw his father murdered by a half-orc half draenei who was a close friend to his father (Garona was being magically controlled by the Shadow Council when she killed Varian's father, Llane). But those events he blames Thrall specifically because he is an Orc. An Orc that had NOTHING to do with any of those events. But he is so narrow minded, so lost in his hatred, that even IF he killed Thrall, he would just keep slaughtering Orcs until his hatred was quelled, which would be never. Varian should just eat an arrow and let his son take command. Anduin is more a king than Varian could ever dream of becoming. Eliminate Varian from the Alliance, and I really have no reason to hate it. And note, it was the Alliance who almost eradicated the Blood Elves. Someone above mentioned the Alliance would never resort to genocide, well, they almost did with the Blood Elves. The Alliance is not as perfect as many allies seem to think it is. The Horde is not either, but I prefer Thrall as leader than Varian.
I play a Tauren Druid, and Tauren by nature are peaceful. Except the Grimtotem... those are just insane. I am sure Magatha would follow Garrosh. But to my point, the Tauren are Horde because of Cairne and Thrall. If Thrall leaves the Horde, Cairne no longer is honor bound to the Horde. Wow, I just think I answered myself. If Thrall leaves, and Cairne also wants to leave the Horde, but taking the entire Tauren race from the Horde, I can see Garrash labeling Cairne as a Traitor and killing him, and maybe putting Magatha in charge of the Tauren. It's the only way I see the Tauren still being under the Horde flag. Buts till doesnt make sense. No Tauren would follow Magatha or follow Garrosh after murdering Cairne. If that rumor comes to be, I will really be mad with that choice of action on Blizzard's part.
Tauren don't hate the Alliance, the same way Thrall doesn't hate the Alliance. They have always tried to achieve a peace with the Alliance, a peace that with every event came crashing down and Varian going all berserk and further not reasoning with logic but aggression. If it wasn't for Jaina, Varian would have self destructed years ago... and maybe she should let him for the sake of the Alliance. Let him get killed. Now, the Horde is not w/o flaws, for Thrall let's people like Garrosh have positions of power within the Horde. Cairne as well with Magatha. Cairne does not trust the Forsaken, Magatha is clearly an ally to the Forsaken... or the Scourge. Garrosh would use the Forsaken, not trust them, but be more welcoming than Thrall and Cairne are. Sylvanas is just pissed at Arthas, and once Arthas is defeated, I don't know what she will do... but my guess is follow garrosh to erradicate the Alliance, and then turn on the Horde once the Alliance has been erradicated.
But my point is, after all that, Blizzard better have a VERY GOOD reason to keep the Tauren under the Horde flag. Killing Cairne is not a good start. Keeping him alive is. Thrall needs to do what ever Thrall needs to do, but if Garrosh kills Cairne, I will seriously consider a faction change with my Tauren Druid... And if they do, I seriously doubt Blizzard will come up with something extremely good that will keep me tied to the Horde. If Cairne is killed, I will switch. I am very Lore motivated, and although I don't play in a RP server, I play RP style. And I am sure that there will be many angry RP Tauren players, unless they RP as Grimtotem, that will be really angry if Garrosh kills Cairne.
