Apr 13th 2010 5:04PM Side note: you can watch seasons 1& 2 on Netflix streaming, for those of you who haven't seen them on the web already.
Apr 2nd 2010 10:04AM I'm just glad that everyone on the internet got to be snarky and sarcastic for one day out of the year. It's good to break up the monotony every so often!
Mar 17th 2010 2:13PM It doesn't really matter, undercutting will become a thing of the past once people pay extra cash to access the Auction House from the web at any time. Those auctions you picked up for 50% off normal prices? Gone.
In fact, price fixing is most likely going to become the norm. Overall inflation will rise significantly and then normalize to a slightly higher level than exists today. No, the sky is not falling (yet) but the end of the casual profiteer is nigh.
Mar 12th 2010 10:18PM I'm a "casual" enhancement shaman that is only able to log on three or four nights a week. My guild is active and is currently raiding ICC, but my gear isn't quite there yet. While our guild does do "fun" runs of ToC and Ulduar, they rarely fall on the nights I happen to be on. My healing gear is mostly ilvl 200, unenchanted and ungemmed, which makes LFG as heals for the newer 5 mans a risky bet. Queuing for DPS takes upwards of 30-45 mins, but it's been where I've focused most of my time. And hardly anyone is running PuGs for the level of raiding content I need. I seem to have fallen into a "donut hole" of sorts.
Any tips on where I should be focusing my time and energy? Am I doing it wrong?
Mar 4th 2010 6:38PM It is also a very distrusting and paranoid system. I hardly find those qualities to be superior.
I stand behind my original statement:
"In the end, it doesn't matter, as long as you state ahead of time what that roll is going to be. As long as it is publicly stated without objection, you will have a chatlog for a GM to digest in a ticket."
Mar 2nd 2010 7:29PM I'd love to see a non-widescreen low-memory minimalist UI for those with older computers! :)
Mar 2nd 2010 7:20PM I have yet to run into anyone who rolls anything but greed, and precisely for the reasons you state (i.e. Frozen Orbs become viable for pretty much everyone) everyone should continue to do so. The reason for rolling on the item is purely economic and/or for the character's benefit, not to fill a specific slot on their paper doll. Thus, the rolls should continue to be, and should be GREED.
"Needers" who roll on top of greed rolls are ninjas.
In the end, it doesn't matter, as long as you state ahead of time what that roll is going to be. As long as it is publicly stated without objection, you will have a chatlog for a GM to digest in a ticket.
Will your time invested in said ticket be worth it?
Most likely not.
Feb 16th 2010 8:28PM "Well, is that image to scale? "
I can't believe your staff missed this one. Of course it's to scale. Deathwing has obviously perched himself on the rooftop of the ill-fated Gnomish housing projects.
