Mar 30th 2012 11:35AM They want you to go to a vendor and buy a recipe to level up more. It seems they did that with a lot of professions in BC. The guide I used suggests the Adamantite Cleaver (recipe bought in Shat) and then Lesser Wards of Shielding (bought in Hellfire). Those should get you to 350 and into Wrath level mats. Here's a link to the guide:
Mar 30th 2012 8:08AM I can't stand it either; it sounds so distant. I call them all my "girls". I've put a lot of time and effort into them; I care about them. Calling them "toon" to me feels the same as calling someone "that black kid" or "that dude with the face".
Mar 29th 2012 12:19PM Is there a way to get the nameplates to not move all over the place? I use the interact with target keybind, since a ton of people standing on top of a quest giver usually means a ton of shifting nameplates as people move around, making it hard to click on the one I want.
Mar 29th 2012 11:22AM Wowcrendor and Jesse Cox released a video earlier today of them doing the first few horde quests - long story short, it looks like everyone better start stocking up on baby spice. I know somewhere Blizz said they wanted to make the zones less linear than in Cata, but it looks like to start horde and alliance will be crammed into the same small areas fighting over the same 4 spawns of x item to pick up and y beast to kill. They only did the first few quests, so it could open up once you complete the intro segment. I hope so, or I will be a sad panda... er, space goat.
Mar 28th 2012 8:06AM Challenge modes. I'm the only healer who levels fast in our guild, and I already know I'm going to get roped into doing those somehow. I love running dungeons, but I hate the "go go go" mentality challenge modes are going to bring, even with my guildies. I love them, but they get way too hardcore about realm firsts and achievements for my taste.
Mar 26th 2012 11:24AM The people who say "transmorg" are probably the same people who "warsh" their clothes. My ex's family would say that all the time; it drove me crazy to not scream "it's 'wash'! there's no 'r' in that word!" at them.
Mar 22nd 2012 11:47AM Has anyone been able to play in the new zones yet? As a moderate altoholic, I'm curious to know what the stats and ilvls are on the items in the new 85 zones. The jump from Wrath zones to Cata zones is quite painful when you don't either craft new gear or buy it off the AH (especially when my latest alt dinged 80 in Dragonblight), and I'm wondering if I ought to deck out my alts in the 377 crafted pvp gear to help ease the transition.
Mar 12th 2012 8:14AM Whoo broad sweeping generalizations that everyone can refute with "I know one female who hasn't!". I know several women who only started healing because they played a hybrid that could heal and then were never allowed to switch back. I know several who've picked hybrids and never healed except when pulls head south. I also know several men who've only played healers. One of the great things about WoW is how diverse the playerbase is. Generalizations like that are the sign of someone unfamiliar with the game or an incredibly small circle of friends.

Jan 25th 2012 11:27AM Not exactly what you're looking for, but you do have a limited number of times you can report people in a short period of time. I logged in to a bunch of Anal spam one day and sat about trying to report everyone, only to get a notice telling me I had reported too many people. I don't think they'd block anyone from reporting spam permanently though. Then they'd have people opening more tickets, and I would think a "report spam" notice is faster to check out than responding to a ticket.
