Aug 26th 2011 7:36PM That comment on Schnottz... you're one of THOSE people, huh... disappointing.
Jul 1st 2011 8:18AM I pretty much pick based around what each race looks like gender wise. I don't like to have ugly characters that don't also look cool (No female Dwarves, No male Night Elves, No female... well... almost any Horde.)
Right now my split is 6 males to 4 females on my server, which I think seems pretty fair.
May 22nd 2011 12:18AM WoW Insider, your website seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?
Jan 13th 2011 11:03AM Gelbin Mekkatorque.
We'd spend out days living out Gilligan's Island while he built planes and radios of coconuts and the like.
Jan 5th 2011 9:01AM Holy - My priest and main. There isn't much behind the name other then I lucked out and got it. Also, in a bit of irony, I am shadow.
Hexodus - My Death Knight. Hexen is a name I've used forever. I have it on one server, but on my main server no such luck. So, I mixed Hexen with Exodus to get this.
Salliey - My warlock. Named after another warlock in my guild everyone calls Sally.
Corzetti - My hunter. Him, and all his pets, are named after Italian pastas. Kind of silly, but I like it.
Apr 1st 2010 1:55AM It's funny that in the end, tailoring and engineering work out so well. I am a tailor/engineer who choose my professions solely for the fact that I collect mounts and pets. While I lost my exclusive pets (Boo!) I at least got a new mount this patch (Yea!) My proffesions actuly have turned out useful for rading, as lightweave is up for a good time, and the nitro-boost crit helps. I also think the 5 second speed boost is really useful for many situations (Such as catching up to the OT during Rotface) and just plain fun. Thanks for showing that ... blood elf... Dawn Moore how it's done (I feel they way about Blood Elves you do about gnomes.)
Holy, Shadow Priest on Tichondrius
Feb 24th 2010 8:00PM I choose Engineering for the pets. It bums me out that now everyone can have them... They had better give me a pally charger now *grumble*
Feb 17th 2010 11:32PM As a mount collector (111 at the moment) I find this really annoying. All of WotLK has had a habit of dangling pretty mounts in my face, and then giving me no chance to get them, like the removal of Plagued/Black Proto-Drakes (I'm in a casual guild.) However, those mounts are from accomplishments - you get them because you earn them, but random drop mounts should never stray too far from 1~2%. During Halloween, I didn't see the reins drop, but I did have hope that they could. During this event, though, I slog into SFK everyday not feeling like its even a possibility. I really don't understand why they made this event like this (even the blues seem to have a lower rate then Direbrew/Horseman/Alhune.)
Feb 12th 2010 11:06PM If the Titan's could not kill the old gods due to them being linked to Azeroth, destroying it in the process, why are players able to kill Cthun and Yogg-Saron without any such negative effects?
Jan 8th 2010 10:02PM I was hacked before I got my authenticator and was very pleased at the results. I had a GM help me restore my account after being hacked. Withing about 5 days everything was restored. Though I thought my computer was completed clean (changed password, email's password, etc.) I was hacked again a few days after restoration. I then again had another GM complete restore everything, and he was nice enough to disable my account at my request until i received my authenticator. A few days without your account is a small price to pay for such excellent service. I really don't think this care package is the right direction, rather user patience.
