I'll give you a clue: http://bit.ly/bGyRSa
Aug 21st 2010 9:01AM Am I killing something? Then I'm playing.
Aug 10th 2010 5:31PM Ah, that's nice. Always been a fan of "less is more" UIs. Been runing something similar but with SUF raid frames (only showing 10), very tempted to grab Grid and hide them altogether. As my main's a rogue, I'm not overly concerned with how alive everyone else is ahaha.

Jul 19th 2010 9:17AM I founded and led a 70-account 10-man PvE guild on an RP server for 9 months or so before passing the leadership to my most trusted officer and taking a 2 month break before eventually walking away from the guild entirely (no animosity). Things simply got too much being involved with everything and feeling ultimately responsible for every single member's well-being.
Advice I'd offer to anybody in that situation is to surround yourself with a sturdy officer team each specialising in aspects that your guild undertakes - a raid leader(s), recruitment, retention, social/events, rp/lore, etc - and that you delegate them to wholly look after that area. Come together as a guild council regularly and swap idea, but as a GL don't try to be so hands on with everything or you'll drive yourself insane.

Jul 4th 2010 10:54AM Oh, oops, missed the "beta" bit.
Jul 4th 2010 10:12AM Oooh, what quest/event gets that to happen? That's the kinda thing I'd like on my blog.
Apr 3rd 2010 9:53AM Hoping they implement a reward for TCG Realms/Nats winners with a great account-based title.
Mar 18th 2010 11:59AM Again, thanks to everyone who has commented. Our guild forums strongly recommend the use of Authenticators to our members, and all Officers are required to use one. Our GB is set-up so that only main characters have access and that the high-value tab six is on a request basis. There's at least a fortnight's trial period for any new member before promotion to member status with any remote GB access.
Our raids are all handled through our forums, so the vast majority of the guild can instantly grab an officer through them, over msn, vent, text, etc as we're mainly formed of several groups of close (RL) friends.
Input from everyone much appreciated, thank you. It's definitely the after-hack angle I was focusing on, but hopefully - by drumming it in - we won't have to jump through those hoops in the future.
