It's all about perspective. You seem to be a "For the Horde" chest-pounder, nothing wrong with that, but when you describe things like "the noble struggle of the belfs/undead" and then claim faction bias on the author, you pretty much kill your argument. I don't know if planning a plague to wipeout all life on Azeroth could be considered "noble", but that's just me.
Yeah, the humans have done some pretty bad things to the orcs, but in some respect it was motivated by war, death, and bloodshed caused by, mainly...the orcs themselves.
As for the article, it doesn't seem like it's an "orc=bad" argument. It's taking a non-apologetic stand that, yes, the Horde did some crazy things on their demon-blood binge. Some people need to just accept that, for some time, the orcs were legitimate bad-guys. Are they currently? That's for Blizzard and the playerbase to decide.
Besides, the article was about Draenai, and they just rock.

Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience some time ago, but you are missing out on some of the best MMO's on the market. And besides, I'm assuming you're a WoW player based on the fact you are commenting on a WoW-related website, Blizzard has just as many issues that they've failed to correct. I don't know how many times I've seen gold-selling trial account characters spelling out some random website in corpse before the auction house. I mean, I have to have a special device (authenticator) that give me a second, random password on top of my regular password just so I don't get my account hijacked.
To be blunt, nothing's perfect in any MMO. But to simply set aside a company that has aguably influenced Blizzard (guild ranks/kinship ranks, player titles, achivements/deeds), just seems silly.

Mar 30th 2010 9:38PM It's great to see some love being shown to Turbine. They've done a wonderful job on LOTRO and DDO, especially for a company without the financial backing that Blizzard currently has at its disposal. I've found myself far more entranced by Lord of the Rings Online's style than what is currently being put out by Blizzard. Hopefully, with Cataclysm nearing release, that will change. If not, then it might be time to retire the Tauren Druid and focus on my Hobbit Warden.
Sep 13th 2009 10:48AM Currently have:
LotRO: my main
City of Heroes/City of Villains
EVE Online (Trial only)
WoW (canceled subscription and will probably be the first to be purged)
Sep 10th 2009 3:50PM I'm giving it a shot. I've played WoW, LoTRO, City of Heroes, and Champions Online, though LoTRO is by far my favorite. If Turbine did even half as good a job on DDO as they did on Lord of the Rings Online, then I'm sure it will be worth the time. If not, then it's free and no ding to my pocket.
