Apr 13th 2011 8:50AM Healing. I have tried it, and don't really like it. To be fair I have only tried healing on my paladin. It's more of a play style thing. Sitting in the back casting heals at players and not pew pew'ing doesn't feel right. I like the visceral nature of tanking and dps. It feels more engaging to me. I feel like I am more a part of the action.
A close second is PvP. I do my best to focus down healers, draw attention away from my teams healers, but I don't pvp enough to fully understand all of the objectives in some of the newer BG's and I end up just following the group wherever they go be it right or wrong. I have just under 8k honor kills and my account is almost 5 years old so that should give you an idea of how often I actually pvp.
Apr 12th 2011 8:25AM I will be honest. I always hesitate before clicking OK when I tank on my warrior and my paladin. It is not the instance that gives me pause but the players. (Although I have a little mantra of NOT STONECORE while hitting OK) I cross my fingers and hope for a group that will, CC what I ask them to, and not try to blow up mobs before I have tclapped.

Apr 11th 2011 8:07AM PvP for me. I have not even built the crafted blues for it yet. I have spent the majority of my time leveling professions, leveling in general and then gearing my main. Next came the alts with professions valuable to my main. Up to 4 max level toons with an 83 with maxxed profs and an 82 I am using to farm gold from lvl'ing quests. I still also want to go back and get loremaster. I was a bit disheartened that I did not finish pre shattering and came to within 100 quests of it. It's strange to have "the Seeker" and not loremaster.
Apr 8th 2011 2:20PM Changes, clarification or no, this still won't get me to queue up as a tank for a pure pug. If I can't take guildies or friends on the server I generally don't queue for a heroic. The quality of pugs lately have led me to not queue up on my dps alts either. I have had many bad experiences in LFD with cata, whether it be from players acting badly, cursing like sailors, or just in general making themselves a nuisance. I have had people post dps meters in a normal dungeon and call me out for doing 6k dps in a normal on my still getting geared lock. The wow player base has soured me on pugging, and these satchels will not entice me back.
Apr 8th 2011 10:13AM The 1st guild was definitely wrong for just kicking and then being mean to the player. It's one thing to just cut ties, but quite another to harass a player after the horrible way they kicked him/her.
I have never played with a deaf player, however I have tanked with a person who was mute. We found a way to work through things, and tanked all of ICC together including heroic modes. Now it was not without issue. It was difficult at first but after playing together for a while we developed a synergy and could read what the other was going to do.
There is no reason to exclude someone who is obviously a good player if he/she tanked the guild through content before they officially became raiders. It just shows a laziness and a meanness that seems to have developed in the wow community.
Apr 2nd 2011 4:57AM And yet, Blizzard is trying to mess with tanks.... First time in Baradin Hold I almost got instagibbed because I turned the trash mob around. I really don't like the stack up and share a cleave with the raid mechanic in there. Blizz has done the tanks stack to share a cleave before but pointing a mob at the raid? It is so counter intuitive to the tanking model that we have basically been using for the past 6 years.
Mar 29th 2011 12:16PM I want to boogie oogie oogie till I just can't boogie no more!
Mar 29th 2011 12:08PM I would have to say Silvermoon. I find the architecture interesting, and I tend the have the city almost all to myself. A smattering of npc's and very few player characters. I would like to make my home just north of the walk of elders.
Mar 26th 2011 9:22AM If I am soloing old content or just questing I am generally listening to Calle 13. Social commentary with great beats, and great inside jokes.
When raiding I tend to keep the Conan the Barbarian sound track looped. I keep the volume at a place where I can still hear vent calls but I can enjoy the visceral music. I especially like playing the Battle of the mounds and the Orgy while raiding.
