Paragon's world first heroic Fall of the Lich King video {WoW}

Apr 13th 2010 6:11AM ya know, it was fine just upto the "half-witted, blind, one-legged" , but then why did you say cocker spaniel??
i just feel extremly sorry for such beautiful dogs who are "half-witted, blind and one-legged".. why didnt you use something like a poodle? or a pug? (we all hate pugs, dont we? especially the 5mans)

Breakfast Topic: A random topic {WoW}

Feb 26th 2010 9:16AM well.. actually rabi tries to turn into a mammoth every 10 seconds after starting the event as long as he's above 50% hp and once every 5 below 50%.. since you said, that you had fought him for 15-16 seconds, i'd say he tried to transform atleast once..

another mechanic of the fight is that his cast time increases by 1% for every 1% hp he has lost(i.e almost instant cast when he's about to die)

so, at the 15th second, he would have been below 50% and hence he'd try transforming again, but if he died at 15.2 seconds, his cast would have been almost instant..

the server prolly considered him to have transformed but before that data could reach your pc(latency), his hp probably hit zero..

he transformed.. you just didnt see it.. hence no achievement :P

Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Zarhym clarifies new holiday boss mechanics {WoW}

Feb 23rd 2010 6:22AM oh and also, you have as many chances at the loot as the number of alts you have at 80..
and to every1 who says it is unfair to every1 who has only one or two toons at 80, they have put in the time and effort to level these toons up.. and i bet not many ppl will level toons just so they can farm holiday bosses just during the festival season..

Feb 23rd 2010 6:14AM well.. altho this is a nice change to all the running around, i dont think its that fair.. i give a higher importance to my main and i'd like to get all the good stuff for her.. if the love rocket (for example) dropped on my alt and not on my main, i'd be disappointed..

if blizz could change it such that the ultra rare drops can be traded between account toons before being used or learnt, it would be the sweetest deal ever..

Raid Rx: Are you doing enough? {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2010 4:05AM @sorcefire

while i understand how targeting and using keyboard keybinds can be detrimental to the healing output of a healer, i dont understand how healbot users are lazy (i'm one of them and i do fine with it even in ICC), and how addons (VuhDo?? dont really know of any others) other than grid+clique are a NO..

Healbot is extremly easy to setup without the hassle of Grid and the latest versions may even give grid a run for its money.. Ofcourse im speaking as a healer.. grid can possibly be used by any class to keep a watch on the raid, while healbot is specifically tailored for heals..

If you do have any convincing arguments against the use/or in what way grid excels over healbot, i'd be interested in hearing about it and even switching if i find the disparity high enough..

Jan 11th 2010 12:23AM he's talking about the people "buying" the gold.. if you bought 5k gold, and then blizz banned your account, even if it was temporary, you know blizz is watching.. you arent going to buy more gold any time soon.. so you as a repeat customer is lost to the gold seller.. if blizz did this to all the people who bought gold, buyers are going to dry up.. gold sellers wont have anyone to sell to and so they would dry up to..

Icecrown raid access progression {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 2:58PM well.. technically speaking, blizzard is a for profit company. they have targets to achieve and they dont really care if u dont like the gating of the content..

how many hardcore raiders do u think will cancel their accounts because of this?? will they, who have put days or months on their characters (so that they can play the content in question) quit playing and cancel their subscriptions?

even if they did (even for a couple of months), if 98% (just assuming) of the population on wow doesnt quit cuz they are not going to blow through content and then get bored then who do u think blizz is going to favor??

total population :12m x $15 = $180m
2% hardcore :240k x $15=$3.6m
98%casual :11.76m x $15=$176.4m

who do you think they will want to retain??

(i know its a lot of opinions framed as questions.. but hey it gets them across)
