Mar 26th 2012 6:57PM So are the gates of SW back to normal now that Deathwing is dead and gone?

Breakfast Topic: Have you ever won the Fishing Tournament? {WoW}

Jan 21st 2012 12:28PM I quit trying to win won years ago, although I'd love to get the Salty title one day.

A couple of months ago I was leveling a warlock through Northrend and he needed some fish to skill up his cooking. I noticed the time and decided to only fish from pools just in case. Caught the shark in the third pool and almost fell out of my chair. I wasn't keeping track to see if someone had already won, but hearthed to Dal anyway. I turned it in a bammo! I only hope they make the individual cheevos account wide in 5.0. This alt will never be my main and I really hope to get Salty on my main someday.

Jul 2nd 2011 12:28PM I loved leveling my rogue as subtlety until about level 83 or so. Sublety works great as long as your opening series of moves really has a big effect on the health of the mob. I DS-ed into combat and finished the push to 85 that way. Seemed to work better for me anyway.

Breakfast Topic: How would you change Cataclysm? {WoW}

Apr 16th 2011 10:34AM I agree with the single dig per site for archeology. Either that or provide more fragments per dig or any other idea that provides skill ups on the pace of the other secondary professions I can skill up cooking from 0 to 525 in about 8 hours. Doing the same for arch is about twice as long. I can see it being a time sink and I don't really care about the artifacts, however I would just like it to be about the same time sink as the others.

The Queue: Sacco vs. Ragequitters 3 {WoW}

Feb 18th 2011 11:30AM Question for the Queue:

I noticed last night that I seemed stuck at 32 cooking awards against the 50 cooking awards acheivement. He was a 450 cook way before Cataclysm came out and he has been doing the Cata SW cooking daily regularly (not every day but most days). The only conclusion I can draw from this is that the SW Cooking daily award doesn't count toward the number of cooking awards achievement. Is this intended or is a fix inbound?

Breakfast Topic: What caused your first Cataclysm death? {WoW}

Jan 31st 2011 9:29AM Barron Geddon....I really should have paid more attention.

And lag for the next several.

Charge the mob and then the world stands still. Then get the "you've been disconnected from the server" message. Log back in and find myself as a ghost.

Gold Capped: Early Cataclysm economy tweaks {WoW}

Dec 22nd 2010 9:57AM Any news on how to get the new Tailoring recipe for the Top Hat? I've seen it mentioned on plenty of sites, but haven't seen any info on how to acquire it. I bet it will be quite a seller too (either the recipe or the hat itself).

Aug 21st 2010 9:13AM The Dalaran dailies would be able to increase my skill if I could skill higher than 450. Since both toon are maxed at 450, I no longer recieve skill ups for fishing. Thus my curiosity about whether I can get the hat in the Cata daily. I'd rather roll my dice when I am able to skill up instead of fishing just for the chance at the hat. I'd prefer to skill up and continue to have a chance at the hat.

Aug 20th 2010 5:30PM Do you have any idea if the weather beaten fishing hat can still be obtained via the Cataclysm fishing daily? I have two characters that haven't gotten it yet and their fishing is maxed. If I can get it while leveling their fishing to 525 then I'd prefer to do that rather than continue to do the Dalaran daily and not increase skill.

Breakfast Topic: The best class choice for new players {WoW}

Aug 8th 2010 9:16AM I would definitely take into account the person's history with playing these sort of games. If you are new to the play style in general, then the paladin class does enable a "learn as you go" kind of levelling experience. However a seasoned player will be bored to tears with that process.

I usually recommend a Dranei Warrior because of the somewhat useful Gift of the Naaru self heal ability. No buffs to manage as you level. You are pretty much good-to-go as long as you map Charge to the 1 button and press it every time you engage a mob. Just remember to learn first aid!
