Nov 30th 2011 5:41PM I have no problem with players like Snuzzle who are just trying to get by. It's the guys in full pvp gear that present the problem, which is why I suggested a given amount of resilience to be the cut-off point, not ANY resilience.
Nov 30th 2011 9:33AM I don't want to suggest an elitist attitude, however there should be a barrier of entry that is non-transmissible between the two styles of gameplay. I sure as hell can't walk into a rated bg or arena and expect to perform well, so why should the reverse be true? If there's any elitism suggested in my comment, it's inherent to the system already.
Nov 29th 2011 11:49PM They should implement a further gate on the qualification filter to prevent people from queuing with resilience. For example, if I'm currently equipping more than X resilience, I am not eligible to que, regardless of iLvl. That should solve the PvP gear issue.
Nov 29th 2011 9:33AM Does anyone know the average iLvl required to que for the new 5 mans?
Nov 24th 2011 2:26PM It was a few weeks after launch when I first saw wow in action. A friend had got it and I spent every morning waiting for him to get ready for school sitting in his room playing. I remember rolling a night elf warrior (female, I was a lore nerd since WC2) and being amazed that you could hear the difference between wearing leather and mail. It took me a whole week to realize that using a bow was not the best way to play a warrior.
Jul 10th 2011 12:09PM What is with ogres suddenly becoming a legitimate threat/power players? I get that chogall wanted to bring his people with him on his rise to power, but beyond him has there ever been an ogre that was not a bumbling barbarian? Having never taken them seriously and having slain thousands over the years, I'm having a hard time taking them seriously as anything but tools for other more conniving forces.
Jul 9th 2011 12:17PM Tin foil hat: If I had to hypothesize the location of the deathwing fight, there are a few places that make alot of sense to me:
1. Deepholme. Give us a big, separate instance of the entire zone to use.
2. Seperate Instances of Orgrimmar/Stormwind. Let us fight for our homes IN our homes.
3. Beneath Grim Batol. There's alot of history there and it's one of the few places large enough to physically accommodate a dragon of Deathwing's considerable girth. (insert tasteless Alexstraza joke here)
4. A new, hidden titan facility. We're gonna need those big guns to take him down, and I think it naive to suggest that we're just gonna run in and beat him down of our own accord. We're going to need some serious muscle, and I don't think 10/25 heroes can bring the hurt necessary to take him down.
Jul 3rd 2011 8:13PM *are manipulated. Damn this touch screen.
Jul 3rd 2011 8:12PM Whoever the next aspect of earth is definitely will need agents and armies, deathwing has been neglecting his responsibilities and as such there are some very big boots to fill. That being said, I think that it has been demonstrated how easily the nether and twilight dragons are...if not true black dragons, then maybe we can win the allegiance of those flights. It's kinda poetic, and there's precedence in game (how many people cruise around on nether drakes every day?)
