Sep 19th 2011 6:54AM Did that article really contain the phrase "ultimately climaxing on the dragon's back"? What next, patch 4.4 ole' Deathy gives you a reach around?
Sep 12th 2011 9:18AM Hope it all goes well OP. We have a tank in the guild who is just a tad below early teens and he regularly main / off tanks our non-progression raids (and could manage progression raids if he was allowed to stay up that late!). The average age of our guild is probably 3 times his, yet he fits right in because it's a family friendly guild and he takes a mature approach to being online.
Just to let you know that there are places out there where you can slot right in without worrying about age - I hope your current guild is already one of those.
Aug 17th 2011 9:28AM Has anyone considered that the CoT raid might be the one where we have to confront Deathwing? I mean, considering his current power, trying to 10 man him now seems suicidal. Why not go back in time and bump him off when he was merely (!) an Aspect?
Feb 19th 2011 8:38PM I'm just getting into heroics on my mage, and I I've had a fiddle with all three specs. While fire has the more interesting rotation and aoe potential, I've found I can get more reliably get decent dps with arcane. I guess it's because I don't need to work has hard: why try to line up 3-4 cooldowns and procs when I can get the same results with one finger :-)
Can someone confirm that fire gets better once crit values increase in heroic gear? If arcane and fire both move up in parallel, then I must be doing something wrong.
Dec 22nd 2009 10:18AM Ah, free stuff. Pass it over, WoW minions.
Sep 14th 2009 10:17AM Silly and sad as it sounds, I love sitting on top of the Orgrimmar bank late on a weekend evening (about 2am). There's still a few people around, but it's mostly quiet now, and there is a real sense of rugged peace with that place that you don't get in other cities like Silvermoon or Undercity. It feels very much what I imagine an African plains summer evening would be like.
A similar if less relaxed feeling can be had by sitting next to a camp fire somewhere up the big mountain near Crossroads. It's not just the feeling of peace, it's more a feeling of something wild and untamed relaxing for a moment and, by proxy, allowing you a moments relaxation too.
The fact that I can actually get that contented, relaxed feeling just sitting doing nothing in a computer game amazes me, and finds me logging on at way past my bedtime, over and over again.
