Jul 20th 2009 7:56PM Technically haste got a little buff for Rets during 3.1 because of the increased seal damage...more white hits = more Seal of Blood procs. This did not massively change its weight, however, and strength remains the stat to go for. Haste is just an afterthought.
In 3.2, haste will allow for some VERY slightly increased speed of stacking the Seal of Vengeance debuff, but even that is miniscule since it is also applied by DS and CS.
All in all, Blizzard seems to have not found the sweet spot for haste that makes it really valuable for melee.
