Apr 14th 2009 1:34PM I'm not one for "ditto" comments, but "ditto". Spreading this video far and wide.
Apr 13th 2009 4:35PM Excellent, thanks Sels!
Apr 13th 2009 4:26PM Anyone else having problems viewing the video from wowinsider.com and finding that the source site is down? It keeps redirecting me to http://offline.gameriot.com/
Mar 17th 2009 1:48PM Fantastic! I'm going to be borrowing MUCH of this when I get home tonight!
I'm sure patch day is a bit of a pain, but you can certainly lessen that with using Curse's updater. It's no AceXML, but at least Curse Updater doesn't require .NET installed.
Mar 17th 2009 10:29AM Afaik, its 1 per day, but it's rotated for me a couple times. I've had to fite ladiez by challenging them, but the last few days she's put me on a bear to go joust with other bears.
Jousting on bears; what a world.
A quick note, the brittle revenants that are on the frozen lake are mineable when they die. I've been lucky to be the only miner in the area most of the time, and end up getting lots of http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39220 which vendor for 22 silver and change each. I usually end up with at least 10g worth of the stuff when I go to turn in when I mine other people's kills.
Miners, do your part to clean up after our fellow players. Mining the corpses frees up the spawn point sometimes! I've mined a dead corpse with no mobs in the area, and was promptly greeted with a back-loaded spawn point (3 mobs spawn in succession, as soon as the previous one dies).
Mar 17th 2009 10:03AM Not just crappy, but hellaciously borrowed. What's up with that shock-trooper/master chief helm for the DKs?
Mar 17th 2009 10:02AM That's not a complete set, it appears they were only able to mine the shoulders and helm.
Mar 12th 2009 3:24PM The pogo stick would be sweet, but ONLY if my night elf will do flips while he's on the stick at a random interval as he would if he were just jumping in place.
The wonderful thing about nightelves,
Is nightelves are wonderful things!
Our tops are made out of glowie eyes,
our bottoms are made out of springs.
Mar 6th 2009 2:32PM It wasn't a PVP video for sure, so I think the pacing was spot-on. I completely disagree with Michael's assessment of the video (but its not the first), and I reckon we just have different tastes in comedy.
I lol'd pretty much the whole way through. I knew the setup, that there would be a rogue, and the music just hits it spot-on during that time. The campy style, the lyrics that (unlike common practice with this music choice) didn't strain so hard to match up with the action, giving a bit of juxtaposition to the action.
They took their time with the action, giving some time to portray how it would go down in game. The change to color was awesome, and totally appropriate. Look at it this way; he was toddling along on some lowbie toon, or as my guild would say, "Doodley-doo'ing" around. When the rogue's orc warlock friend showed up, it was time to can the flapper-era hijinks and open the throttle with his shaman main in fully tiered goodness, to the tune of Elivs' "Little Less Conversation". Super effective, imo, and I'm going to register with machinima.com just to see if I can subscribe to the user.
A+, would watch again!
Mar 5th 2009 10:08AM Not to be a big fat cheater, but grab the mod SellFish from curse.com. It's a lightweight addon, and all it does is put the vendor price of an item in the tool tip. I use it for selecting which quest reward to take from the very beginning.
