Oct 14th 2009 6:05PM I certainly want a sexy headset, although I do think your suggestion of telling our friends is not in OUR best interest :P
Oct 10th 2009 9:52AM This would just be too much. First they tell us that we're going to have a leader with the intelligence and emotional control of a 5 year old, and now people want to take the only other leader we defend on city raids away? IMO, it's an alliance plot for free and easy bear mounts...
Oct 9th 2009 8:57AM When my lock was my main and my priest was my alt, I would try to lifetap on my priest all the time (she was still gearing up, it was briefly possible to go oom.) When I switched to the priest being my main and the lock being my alt, I try to cast renew after lifetapping. I guess I just really want to be OP and have an endless cycle of health and mana...
Other than the alt/main issue, I recently tried out Aion for a little while, and then started to level up my pally back in WoW. I would just sit there, very confused that I had to be in range and that the game wouldn't just automatically run me up to the this I was trying to attack or the resource I was trying to gather. It was worse when someone sent me a tell that I had just divine stormed into nothing several times in a row, because I was just mindlessly spamming buttons. They wanted to know if I was trying to get a rogue out of stealth, because consecrate is better >.
Sep 29th 2009 5:36PM You cannot slow fall or levitate off of ledges for the achievement. You CAN use an ability that negates fall damage (such as iceblock or bubble) but you cannot use any sort of movement slowing OH NOES I FELL OFF A CLIFF device. It's really not that big a deal, though, as long as you fall "intelligently" (as in, use a pre-approved dive spot) and just eat afterward. Hell, on a warlock, go drain life a mob if you're that sad about losing the food money. It's a minor inconvenience on an OPTIONAL, FUN achievement that gets you a pretty sweet mount, so QQ.
Sep 27th 2009 11:34AM I think, perhaps, a long time ago, when the AP were first leaked for Pilgrims' Bounty and no one knew exactly what the holiday was going to be, it was assumed that it was going to be for the Harvest Festival, since it is such a lame holiday with so little point, and there was already a feast table and an AP about the feast table. Granted, people should have read about these things before posting, but all of the confusion is due to old information and the addition of a very similar holiday when, really, this one could have just been revamped.
Sep 26th 2009 11:38AM Exiled, I agree with Ziberious, you were very lucky that that guy was nice to you. Leveling my own hunter alt in Hinterlands, I ran out of arrows with like 4 quest mobs left to kill at the top of that huge troll temple/city/whatever that makes up so many of the quests in that area. I had a full quiver going up the city, but some bad pulls and some guy doing the "kite mobs away from you and then die so they reset and try to kill you" game made me burn through them fast. I decided, eh, what the heck, and switched into aspect of the beast and meleed them down. On my last one, a druid passed me in cat form and spammed me with tells that I was a "scrub" I "should delete this game right now, because you're terrible" "/wrists." I sent him a tell saying some not very nice things, told him I ran out of arrows with 4 mobs left, and I had at least switched to an aspect that benefits melee. Then I told him some more not very nice things and put him on ignore.
At least you learned when people said something, not like the 80 warlock trying to DPS as destro with a VW out and using only dots and shadow bolt I saw in HVH a few weeks ago. I tried to be nice and tell her that she should have her imp out and be casting chaos bolt, because it's a very good spell. She told me that if the (T8.5) tank went down, the VW was going to tank, and that chaos bolt only did 2k damage. I figured that, since she didn't train chaos bolt past rank 1, fixing her rotation in the instance was a lost cause, but I politely tried to suggest to her again that she take out her imp, that I (the healer) was able to keep the druid tank alive. She said I was doing so little healing that she was afraid that I was going to let the tank die (I was disc, and it was VERY unlikely that the mobs even chewed through the bubble.) After screaming out for heals because she life tapped herself into the ground in the middle of the kite boss, I let her die, and then suggested that, since I'm a bad healer, she should take out her imp, since he doesn't cost a shard. No one else died for the rest of the instance, and at the end she noticed that her DPS was way up, but she still sent me a tell that she was never going to group with me again. I guess I deserved it a little.
