May 25th 2010 8:12AM reading WoW.com and playing Monster Hunter Tri. Gotta keep up on the newss :)
Apr 27th 2010 8:30AM I am going to play the devils advocate here a bit.
I think that Wrath was epic from begining to end. You were caught in a story in Wrath. The fights may have been a little bit more watered down so everyone could have a chance to experiance it, but the engaging stories were what made it epic. I never made it to Rags in vanilla. I was part of a guild alliance that raided MC, but we didnt make it before BC came out and we moved on. I can tell you one thing though. Most of the 40 people in that group had no idea why we were in Molten Core. I really had no clue who Ragnaros was. I was there becasue it made my character epic and thats it. Now, tell me a single level 80 that does not know who the Litch King is, what he did, and why we need to kill him. I was very entertained by the story line and all the things I did along the way. I think "Epic" is still there, we are just immersed in it so much, we forget.
Apr 8th 2010 11:33AM I think you may be blowing this TED Talk out of context. Saving the world is a metaphor for solving big problems. She is just bringing to the table, an idea that many gamers have a knack and drive to solve bigger problems. She dosnet mean we will really save the world.
I'm pretty sure that she has also thought about many of the things you are talking about here as her profession is focused on checking out the data. She isn't just talking out of her bottom.
Apr 8th 2010 9:42AM First off...TED FTW! One of the best sites on the internet IMHO.
Second. I agree this was an excellent story. I hope that the world listens and encourage gamers to use this drive and expertise for problems in RL. This isn't going away, it will only be more pronounced in the future. Maybe someone will give us a reason to get out of our chairs and apply these skills.
Feb 26th 2010 2:16PM You don't think its even a little fun to know there is a relativly mysterious place out there in the ocean that is really there and you cant get to it? Plus the article has pictures of this mysterious place. You cant get to Mars right now, but its sure cool to look at.
Why be a hater? I thought the article was neat.
Feb 26th 2010 2:05PM I have to agree. I'm still smiling! I know it showed on our program in the states, but its cool that people from all over the world saw the sign there. I wonder how many people asked that person about it. Hehe! Awesome!

Feb 3rd 2010 2:17PM Very nice! A lot of deep lore there to think about. My only question (I may write about it and try to get it posted on here) is how much of Ner'zul is left? He was once a great shaman and honored by his people. His fall is much worse than Arthas' in my opinion. He was given a crappy deal from the get go. If there is one part of the Lich King I want to see "saved" its the original Ner'zul.
Feb 2nd 2010 1:11PM This is one of the best yet. I love your little BttF section. Keep up the good work!!
Jan 8th 2010 11:22AM I dont think you read it right. You dont have to leave the game at all. That is a rather extremist point of view actually. You still have the option to wait to have your character restored. I really wish people would stop naysaying this option. Blizz is just providing a faster option to those who want to take it (I personlly would not, due to what the value of the care package is compared to the value of my character)
