Jun 17th 2010 5:10PM Hah!
Yeah, that last sentence was poorly constructed at best. Remember though, it was 9:30 (Not that late but I've gotten little sleep this summer) and I'm typing all this from an iPod. I can hardly stand to call it typing. Apple sure does produce horrible abominations.
Jun 17th 2010 11:14AM I'm sorry, I thought the fact that Caps Lock is used to stress a statement's importance. I'd use italics, but once again, I am on an iPod. Last time I checked you can't yell over the internet.
As to the Seed program's rules... Yeah, okay.
The reason my post was difficult to read was likely because you're dyslexic. I reread my post, and while I did speak as one would in a conversation (Or a column, gor that matter) I asked a question in that comment. Under no circumstances should you assume that that was the best of my ability, as my original comment was not a colimnist application
For example, if I were writing a column and your comment was in response to it, I would ignore it.
Jun 17th 2010 1:29AM PLEASE READ
IT IS LEGAL IN GEORGIA TO WORK AND GET PAID FOR IT AT AGE 16. I CAN WORK FAR LONGER THAN THE POSITION REQUIRES.
Jun 16th 2010 10:58PM My grammar was correct.
Another example of such a sentence would be "This, I swear!" after making a promise. I'm on an iPod touch right now anyway. I'm surprised that I even managed a sentence.
Jun 16th 2010 9:26PM Why is there an age requirment of 18 for the colmnist job?
I'm a very experienced warlock, having played the class for 3 years, and I'm intereste in the position.
While I may only be 16, I live in Georgia. It's legal for me to work far longer than this job requires (I could do the required weekly workload each day). In fact, the only things I can't do at 16 in Georgia are smoke and drink. Do I have to write drunk?
As for qualifications, I'm in the Communication Magnet Program and have taken multiple classes in Journalism and the like. I also meet each other requirement, this I am positive of.
Jun 14th 2010 10:35PM That's what I'm saying.
IT'S LEGAL FOR ME TO WORK AND GET PAID FOR IT IN GEORGIA.
Jun 14th 2010 5:28PM As I said, it's actually legal to work where I live...
What is the reason behind the age requirment?
I mean legally in Georgia, the only things I can't do are smoke and drink. Actually I can drink if for religioua purposes or if given to me by a parent. Either way, I don't see a scenario in which either of those would be necesary...
Jun 14th 2010 5:24PM Actually, that's what I've been leaning towards... At my school, I'm in my third year of the Communications Magnet Program and I've taken numerous Journalism classes as well as others that would be helpful in the field, such as Fundamentals of an Advanced Web Design and Telecommunications.
Well, maybe I'll see you on staff in a few years :)

I've played a warlock for nearly 3 years now
I'm a decent Warlock in PvP and PvE, pushing 8k dps on a dummy (self buffed)
But.... I'm only 16.
I meet every other requirement on the list: I know Photoshop, basic HTML, and it's summer. I wouldn't need the week to so a 2000 word column, I could do one every day. *Has sat in bed reading all day*
I consider myself to have a real passion for WoW... I'm reading Stormrage right now and I own and have read each other book. I got the Wrath Collector's edition, I spend my free time hitting F5 on this site and scrolling through the warlock forums for ways to increase my dps (I'm a very competetive raider; if I'm not dps I feel like I'm not contributing enough to the raid.) I play the game every day... And in Georgia (Where I live) It's legal for me to work more than long enough to meet the requirements.
Hell, I even sound like I'm in my thirties-fourties!
Well, I suppose I can always hope that the warlock columnist leaves in 2 years... I'm gonna miss Hobbs!
Hope I don't miss the next opporatunity and congratulations to whomever gets the job!
