Feb 19th 2010 10:02AM For me it was the Surgeon's Needle in PoS, while I didn't work as long for it as the Mudslide Boots, the drop rate for the Needle is better than the boots. I ran PoS for 9 days in a row, for 3 of those days the exact same gear dropped on two of the bosses each day. Finally it dropped and I got the roll. Then came the RNG's taunts. The next two times I ran PoS...It dropped.
I'm telling you...the RNG is sentient, and hates us all.
Feb 19th 2010 9:59AM When I was running them on the PTR I saw them drop like rain. Since then, I've seen one in the maybe 30 runs I've done through the place. The drop rate for it just sucks too much.
Feb 19th 2010 9:54AM I think that, the onus is on The Girl to sit down with The Guy and tell him to stop being a jerk. Because frankly, in my opinion how people act online is also how they are capable of acting in the real world. Does she always have to put up with this crap? Or only when he explodes? Neither is something she should have to deal with. Sometimes, a girlfriend has to be mommy to a stupid boyfriend.
Feb 15th 2010 9:22AM Life in WoW, has and seems like it always will, begin no sooner than 40. And some classes at 60. I think that if the low level game were a bit more interesting and enjoyable, then more people would be willing stick with the game longer. I quit the game 3 times before I dinged my first 80, which was my first max level character. I had 2 trial accounts in vanilla, quit them, created a new one in BC, quit it and reactivated the trial from BC in Wraith.
Hopefully, Blizz makes the old world leveling less painful, because once they do, the number of people staying will go up.

Feb 12th 2010 8:22AM Gregg, I'm afraid that you're probably going to lose that pool. Something tells me that it'll be no sooner than middle to late March.
Feb 4th 2010 3:20PM If I were to change anything to the Dungeon Finder, it would be to make people from your own server to take priority and then to fill out empty spots with people from other servers. To me there are only two ways to get a positive name on your server, one is to have people join your guild and get to know you, then leave, and the other was to run dungeons. Now, with the new system you mostly run with people on other servers.
It's a minor gripe, I know, but it's something I wish for.
Feb 4th 2010 9:16AM My guild needs to read this, unfortunately, I know they won't.
Jan 30th 2010 10:55AM I've been doing a lot of healing and tanking recently and in both situations I've had DPS chain pull before either I or the tank/healer, depending on the situations, were ready. So, I sent a whisper to the other party members, told them to let the DPS die. Which always happened, then we'd jump in, and the offending DPS would either have to corpse walk or drop group. It's a little bit of tasty tasty revenge from a, usually, healer who's sick of having to pull some moron's bacon out of the fire.
