Nov 16th 2010 2:40PM holy cow....what happened there? I hit the add comment button once! I promise!
Nov 16th 2010 2:37PM If you look at the tooltip, it says BoP
That's the debate going around the internet right now, will this stay BoP and thus be an alchemist only perk (as this article states) or will it get changed to a BoE option for choppah 2.0
Either option though, no way I'd be able to afford it : /
Oct 29th 2010 9:34PM Oh it was. Holy radiance was amazing. (still is, but now its not AS silly)
Numbers wise, go look at some of paragon's beta raids from a holy pally pov. Both paladins were blowing everyone else out of the park (we're talking 10k-16k hps compared to the poor shammy pulling 6-9k) and holy radiance accounted for a huge chunk (60-70%) of that healing.
Keeping in mind that all of those healers on that heal team have probably gone through the hardest boss fights in game and are at least competent with their healing, it probably needed to be tweaked.
Oct 19th 2010 10:36AM maan, i scrolled through this article frantically looking for when they all combined to make
MEGATRON- destroyer of raids! I would have squee'd a little at that, but they don't and I didn't : I
Thats ok though, looks like a dynamic encounter that requires people to pay attention.

Sep 12th 2010 11:29PM I completely see your point. However, if the spirit and SoI are not enough, then Blizzard still has plenty of knobs to tweak to get us back up with the rest of the healers. They can ease up on divine plea, they can change mana gains from SoI, they can tweak our spell costs, they can introduce another mana mechanic. The whole point is that they will do SOMETHING. All we have to do is test out what we have now in the beta, report our concerns and give them some data to work with and enjoy playing a paladin.
Sep 12th 2010 9:28PM All of our old mana regen abilities were given to us when that was ALL WE HAD. we had int, and int and...int. But now on top of all of that, we are getting passive mp5 in the form of spirit, just like all the other healers. It only makes sense that our old mana regen abilities would need to get toned down to compensate for our new source of mana gain. All that is left is for the beta to smooth out the numbers.
In other words- relax. Blizzard will always take care of us. We'll still be awesome.
Sep 5th 2010 3:04PM bahahaha. oh man
Aug 29th 2010 7:34PM In regard to dropping sanc/wis, what he said is quite true. There is a reason most people ask for kings instead of wis- 10% more spirit and int for healers (not to mention a stam buffer) is usually better for overall healing regen and throughput than a static 92 mp5 which while nice, will be dropped if you risk losing the benefit of kings.
The only other class that gives the might benefit (if memory serves) is a warrior with battle shout. as such, it is generally a much sought after buff. For the melee classes/hunters, its no contest between sanc and might. Of course tanks should still have the 3% dmg reduction, but even then- it ONLY gives mana back now. Been like that since quite early in wotlk. So while its still a potent blessing, having might and drums would tide one over just fine.
