Nov 10th 2009 6:33AM Some things left out:
Darkshore: Village of Dancing Trolls is now reachable
Ashenvale: Zoram'gar Outpost reinforced
Eastern Plaguelands (or thereabouts): Harbours added
Hillsbrad: Southshore destroyed
Oct 9th 2009 6:45AM I don't think they ever said the Goblins will get a full-scale capital. Yes, it will be their capital, meaning their center of power and base of operations, but Blizzard specifically said there shan't be any new full-scale capitals, with AH, bank and all.
Therefore I don't think Gnomeregan will turn into a capital a la Ironforge or Stormwind. It would just be silly having two capitals in the same zone. More likely is it will be like a big village, maybe a travelhub (with a submarine harbour to get to Vasjh'ir anyone?). That's what I'm thinking.
And it's not unlikely the Trolls will get the same thing.
(And no, the Worgen do not get their own capital either, Gilneas city will just look like a city, but not have all the stuff a capital has, and will be a low-level questhub and bg. )
Sep 29th 2009 1:42PM After reading most of the comments I think we're on to something here. Let me put some things in order that sounded good to me:
Thrall is captured by the Alliance (after all the Alliance ships at the Lost Isles aren't just any Alliance ships, but SI:7, which is a group of people that you'd except to be charged with something like this.)
Cairne takes over command of the Horde
Garrosh challenges/kills Cairne and takes command.
He could either be allied with the Grimtotems, which explains why he would tolerate the occasional Tauren, and banishes the other races from Org., not because they are too weak, which is a crazy stupid reason, but because he fears they will revolt or whatever..
This would lead to all out war with the Alliance, which Blizz wants, and also to great story-progress for Horde, as players try to get Thrall, who was freed by the Goblins, back in place and restore the old order (with a big role played by the Trolls, as Blizz promised they would have in the XP)
