Phat Loot Phriday: Poisonfire Greatsword {WoW}

Jul 17th 2010 12:43AM I'd be quite happy if every Phat Loot Phriday from here on out continued the exciting saga of Throgg, Lolegolas and their loot

City of Heroes announces Going Rogue release date and hands-on at SDCC {Massively}

Jun 22nd 2010 2:40PM This message brought to you by the NCSoft PR department and the City of Heroes development team.

Star Trek Online pushes pre-order bonus items to the C-Store {Massively}

Jun 16th 2010 10:34AM I don't like some of Blizzard's decisions. I don't like arenas, and I don't like how they handle raiding mechanics in some cases. I even think one of their employees is a jackass. Overall though, I think they do a good job and they employ people who are committed to making the best user experience possible. Therefore, I have no problem playing WoW. The instant they do something that pushes one my buttons, I'm out. I don't care what I have invested. It is the same reason why I'll never have Qwest phone service and refuse to set foot in Best Buy.

Yet here you are: "Cryptic is a garbage company that does whatever it takes to leech the money, even if that means screwing over their customers."

Also: "Cryptic is greedy and wants to do everything as half-'butt',"

You've moved past not liking how it is run. You're an addict. Hell, your statement about Blizzard killing puppies proves that out--you think people will continue to play WoW under a circumstance like that. You're right by the way, but where you fail is that you are one of those people and don't even realize it. It's like me complaining that I found rat crap in my taco and then I keep going back because they're just so damn good. You are the perfect consumer--bitch about the company, but just keep on buying.

Star Trek Online pushes pre-order bonus items to the C-Store {Massively}

Jun 16th 2010 9:41AM You don't have much right to complain if you keep feeding them money. It is not unlike a junkie complaining about how his dealer smells bad and charges too much.

Species and advanced careers unleashed in Star Wars: The Old Republic {Massively}

May 13th 2010 1:06PM What the hell is up with the bitching in here? Man, they release one alien species and suddenly it is the end of the world. The game isn't due to release until sometime in 2011, and we have simultaneous bitching about how they are hyping it too much and that they aren't releasing more alien-like races. I think most of you just want to cry because...I don't know. It's just another game and another chance to act like an ass.

How exotic do you think alien species are going to get? Bioware has to make armor models for all the different races...do you honestly think you're going get the Sith Marauder Hutts? Or maybe some of those space worms from Episode V in bounty hunter gear, rolling around and using crates as cover.

By all means, go play something else that is up to your apparent high standards of quality...so high in fact that you can accurately review a game you haven't played that is a year off from release.

Tuesday Morning Post: We dislike NDAs edition {WoW}

May 4th 2010 9:21AM You replied to an existing thread by starting a new thread. That is textbook forum posting 101. I'm sure this was an honest mistake, but pull your head out of your ass and stop whining.

We're thrilled you have an English degree and the time to post between making lattes for customers at Starbucks, but really, maybe you should dial it back a bit.

Cataclysm: PvP weapons clarification {WoW}

Apr 29th 2010 1:23PM Sounds good. Probably won't happen though. If Blizzard wanted skill to be the foremost decider in (arena) pvp, they'd temporarily place everyone in the same, class/spec-appropriate sets of armor for each match and be done with it. Skill would at that point be the only deciding factor. Right now, it is not and they seem relatively happy with the system in place.

Celestial Steed, Lil' XT now active on the Blizzard Store {WoW}

Apr 16th 2010 3:32PM I hope that includes you dropping your subscription right? I mean things have gone to hell since Activision is ruining the game, and on top of that, they are daring to make money off of this new model. The model, by the way, is making so much money not because it is some new mount model. It is because Blizzard spent years developing a player base that not only loves the game and the mechanics of it, but there are so many of them that this such a huge success. You think Age of Conan could do something like this?

Anyway, I hope you've closed your account down in disgust at these capitalist pigs since they are daring to charge money for a product. You surely wouldn't be continuing to support this behavior on a monthly basis would you?

Queue for Celestial Steed and Lil' XT is above 140,000 {WoW}

Apr 15th 2010 4:30PM Snagged the mount before there was even a queue. Logged on with my female blood elf pally, mounted up...only to be joined in the air by another blood elf pally on the same mount. This thing will be all over the place by later tonight.
