Mar 29th 2010 11:03AM I spent 20min testing at a training dummy the difference between these two glyphs and found a few hundred dps extra with glyph of lifetap over immolate.
As for the simcrafting... who has a full ilev277 set? Is the simcraft updated to the spellpower scaling that was put in last week? I'm really skeptical of it when I can just use the training dummy in-game to find immediately relevant trustworthy info.
For most raiders, in 245/251 gear, GoLT appears to be a clear DPS gain over GoImmo
Mar 29th 2010 10:13AM uh, 3.3.3 changed Glyph of Lifetap to scale with spellpower and not spirit. You should be using this glyph.

Tenacity should give stun/snare/silence/daze resists. I don't care if I have 100k health if I can't do anything.

Jan 25th 2010 3:52PM Warriors can hold aggro on many mobs just fine. The DPS just needs to give you 5 seconds before they pop their trinkets and fire their AE abilities. I feel your pain, but they will learn after you tell em twice and they die from aggro thrice.

If you're not happy with the way AE tanking works, and the amount of it that is happening, then why are you designing every Raid/Dungeon with massive amounts of AE-able groups?

More or less, Tanking classes are balanced. AE threat is very good for any class if you know how to play well, Paladins are just a little better at it--and they trade other skills for it. Paladin's can't deathgrip like a DK, survive ridiculously large blows like a Bear or a Warrior, Spell Reflect like a Warrior, Reduce spell damage like a DK....
Our tricks are limited self healing, cleansing, and AE threat/high dps. I don't see any imbalance here.
Jan 12th 2010 9:24PM If you are nice to tanks, and tanks aren't getting pissed at you, then they are more likely to run another heroic after that one you were in! you want more tanks in the queue, so don't give them a reason to stop chaining heroics, or you will wait longer for a group!

I mean, except for the idiot hunters who like surprising me with misdirect pulls of Caster groups. Yeah, that's a great idea. It's not like the healer overtakes your tiny misdirect shot in aggro in a matter of seconds..
