Officers' Quarters: Surviving as a small guild {WoW}

Dec 20th 2010 3:40PM Can't agree more. I have a small family guild of 10 members ever since vanilla. We have done all end game content and have fun doing it, but recently we have been a bit more casual and started on a new server for fun. We get about 1-2% guild xp/day. We are only about 70% through level 1...

With this rate we won't hit 25 until the next expansion is out. Although many rewards are mostly beneficial in a raid setting like mass rez and mass summon, there are many rewards that we all want, but will most likely never see, like the scorpion mount.

Adding members to our roster is not going to happen either. Pretty dissapointed. They are trying to make the game more open for casual players in class balance, but then they do the opposite in the guild leveling game. The more members in your roster, the easier it is to level your guild.

Cataclysm Leak: Deathwing {WoW}

May 4th 2010 12:37PM It's not as epic as I thought it would be, he's much too small. They should increase his size about 200%.

Cataclysm raid progression refinements {WoW}

Apr 26th 2010 2:23PM I don't think it's fair that 25 man would in fact receive more badges/player. More drops are fine, but if it's the same difficulty, the same number of badges should drop/player in both 10 and 25 man version.

This allows ppl who run 25 man raids the ability to gear up quicker through badge loot.

My guild only runs 10 man raids as we only have 8 ppl in our guild and always pick up 2 pugs. We don't want to play with strangers, only our family run guild and therefore don't want to bring 17 pugs along with us. We are penalized for not wanting to run with strangers?

This is definitely 100% better than what it currently is, but if you're going to make it fair and even, do it fully.

Starfall and Nature's Grasp PTR changes {WoW}

Feb 25th 2010 6:52PM roots don't matter in a stunlock situation. dps isn't pushed back or anything.

Starfall and Nature's Grasp PTR changes {WoW}

Feb 25th 2010 6:51PM if you're stun locked, roots don't matter. It doesn't push the rogue back.

Starfall and Nature's Grasp PTR changes {WoW}

Feb 25th 2010 4:19PM I think the Nature's Grasp change just pushed Balance druids completely out of arenas and we'll see a large increase in resto druids. The mobility of resto druids is insane in arenas and are already impossible to kill. Buffing them to ensure they ALWAYS get away from their attacker is overboard. I see a nerf to this ability before the patch goes live.

The Light and How to Swing It: Retribution 101 {WoW}

Feb 24th 2010 6:54PM there should have only been one line to this 101 article.
