WoW Insider's Weekly Webcomic: Safe Passage -- Convergence {WoW}

Apr 4th 2012 4:13PM @ Glaras

I didn't notice that at first, but noticed when I went back to look at the comic (thanks for catching it). Ahh, bar-worker love (my little brother and his wife actually met as bartenders at outback).

WoW Insider's Weekly Webcomic: Safe Passage -- Convergence {WoW}

Apr 4th 2012 3:07PM I was totally surprised and excited too. I was all, maybe the barmaid is Cadistra (sp?) or one of the blood elves drinking is Kissless--even thought the bartender might be Byron our Tauren rogue friend. And then the phat loot friday group shows up XD.

PS. Cadi, love the heart over the bartender's head looking at the tauren waitress.

Apr 4th 2012 12:10PM You can actually play as a naga with the trinket (or friend with trinket) http://www.wowhead.com/spell=91761 and the potion of illusion. A guildie and I were healing in Naga form for Morchok (sadly the trinket takes 10 minutes to cooldown, and potions only last for 2, but still it was fun).

I also healed as a stone drake form (my alchemist still hasn't gotten a second canopic jar to even try for the recipe). Their casting animation is awesome--they open their wings and wiggle their head back and forth like they are breathing fire (same thing when you summon at a stone).

As a druid, I'd be fine with Naga without armor--I've gotten used to my moonkin look (and will enjoy being a tree again), and would be fine with just weapons showing on them too (I'm sure quite a few wouldn't like it though).

Anne did a great article about this stuff on http://wow.joystiq.com/2012/03/28/5-stupid-awesome-uses-for-a-potion-of-illusion/#continued .

Druids can only weild fist-weapons in their main hand (why, I have no idea). It's annoying, I'd love to have them transmogged on my moonkin (course I use a staff instead).

I got both http://www.wowhead.com/item=28392 and http://www.wowhead.com/item=28315 when doing the outland heroic achievement. Can only equip the first one even when walking around the city.

Stupid no swords rule too... (Sorry venting a little.)

Mists of Pandaria Beta: Male pandaren customization gallery {WoW}

Mar 29th 2012 12:37PM Picture 16 shows the back of a male red panda. It does not have a tail, but the regular nub in the color chosen. (It may have been added after these questions started.)

Of course, this could change as it's in the Beta...

Reader UI of the Week: Laar goes with a tri-spec setup {WoW}

Mar 27th 2012 3:19PM I'm pretty sure they do read them, but what more do you need when this is in the article:

Anyways here is the list of addons I have incorportated into my UI, I'm excluding things like bag addons and whatnot as it has no bearing (unintentional bear pun go!) on the real meat of the UIPowerAuras Classic: I am addicted to auras, I sometimes have to restrain myself from making too many.
Action Bar Saver: Absolutely invaluable for changing bars between roles and specs quickly.
Ovale Spell Timer: My Ovale has the code replaced with the priorities found on the Fluid Druid forums.
Skada: Especially when healing, I need to know exactly what happened when something goes wrong.
Bartender: My favoured bar addon.
Button Fa├žade/Masque: I like pretty buttons.
Shadowed Unit Frames: I've tried a lot of different unite frame addons, and like SUF best for it's simplicity and customization.
Grid: Raid frame replacement. I picked it up back in wrath because I liked the HoT trackers, and never looked back.
Move Anything: I like to move stuff.
eAlign: I like all my things to be neat and symmetrical
DBM
Sexy Map
Glance

Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you are asking for, but I'm not sure what new information you would get.

Mists of Pandaria Beta: Challenge Mode armor sets revealed {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 3:11PM I would actually love the higher polygon versions of old sets. (I have some of the recolored versions, but not the actual old sets). Being a tauren with antlers and horns, with leaves or eagles on my shoulders is awesome (course I also like the AQ dungeon set on my druid-one piece away from the full thing).

Mar 20th 2012 5:39PM Moonkin specifically will also be able to use mirror images if they use symbiosis on a mage as well (based on that blue post a ways back). I think priests will also have the possibility for a psifiend talent, and mages can use a water elemental can't they (not just frost, or is it, and the glyph just makes it a pet?)

That is crazy to think about though. Use bloodlust/heroism/time warp and everyone pop all of your cooldowns and you went from a 25 to a 100 man raid. I have no idea if they think it will be a problem or not though.

Mar 20th 2012 3:20PM Not really a question that can be answered, but more a thought on those new Charms for a second roll at loot.

Would these be usable only on the first kill (of LFR since you can't redo normal or heroic bosses)? I.E. could I go to LFR, kill a boss, not get my drop, come back with a charm, kill boss again, but use my Charm for a roll that time around?

It may have been stated in an interview but I don't quite remember.

Mar 15th 2012 1:37PM I know here in the South, Fried Chicken is very much a regular thing (i.e. Kentucky Fried Chicken or KFC). And the skin on that is usually the best tasting (and most unhealthy) part. Of course it goes great with Sweet Tea--but I never can find good sweet tea outside of the southern states.

We also fry everything here.
