Arcane Brilliance: The threat hotfix and you {WoW}

Sep 3rd 2011 11:33PM Christian, you have a wonderful writing style. Can I persuade you to use a semicolon or two in your next writing?

Breakfast Topic: What would you like to see implemented in WoW? {WoW}

Aug 8th 2011 7:24PM 1. I would like to see BC and Wrath heroics (as well as Cataclysm heroics in the future) scale to max level. They already have different abilities from normal instances, and it seems that blizz would only have to scale numbers upward. I don't necessarily mean revamping zones as extensively as Deadmines and SFK. And in terms of gear, I'm not particularly worried: just reward JP/VP, and I'll be happy.

2. Public Quests like Rift and Warhammer with rewards for contribution. Those are fun!

3. Artisan gear--a texture or color variation to set me apart from the other priests I raid with.

Spiritual Guidance: Macros for healing priests {WoW}

Apr 19th 2011 12:46AM It seems to me that one of Dawn's hidden assumptions about mouseover healing is that a person must use a mouse to move the character out of the badness instead of using the keyboard.

This seems strange to me because when a person uses the mouse to move, how are they selecting other targets to heal?

What I particularly like about mouseover healing is that you can run (using the keyboard) while healing others without having to click other targets.

Even though I recognize that moving with the mouse is more effective, there are times when moving with the keyboard is useful too.

Breakfast Topic: What cemented your interest in WoW? {WoW}

Nov 14th 2010 11:50AM I was hesitant to play WoW because of the multi-player element--I'm a JRPG fan, and before WoW, I was to playing all of the characters in the party.

I started vanilla WoW on a trial after I graduated college, and what hooked me was my friends' guild. We would do strange things (like naked ZG runs), and I can't tell you how many times after nights of libation I logged in and found myself dead in Scarlet Monastery.

Now, when I play JRPGs, I feel so lonely, you know?
