Apr 3rd 2012 4:48PM Honestly, Ji Firepaw is being sexist and creepy towards males and females alike. Maybe he's just an inappropriate character, all around. Commenting on how the ladies must be all over the dude means that he's noticed that he is also attractive, even if only to other pandaren. Some people might even think these examples are silly. I would just think, "Ok, that guy is kind of a creeper," and move on.
There are also options for skin coverage in the game, as well. If you have a shirt on under your chest armor, you are never wearing a "chain mail bikini."
Mar 28th 2012 1:23PM This is *awesome* that you posted an article about Potion of Illusion today. Just 2 nights ago I learned the recipe on my druid, and made a bunch of them (easy skillups!) I had fun testing out the random transformations first thing, but then a friend in the know told me about standing right next to someone and taking on their form. I had yet to discover these amazing alternate uses that you mentioned, but you can bet I'm gonna see what other fun things I can do with it asap! Thank you for the fun article!
Mar 28th 2012 6:37AM I think that's the point. A sneak peak that tells us nothing. :D
Mar 27th 2012 5:54PM But...why *not* just give all warlocks green fire? We don't use elemental fire, we use fel fire. I think it will be weird to have a fel imp that has green fire spells, and we're still using the old style fire spells. My 2c.
Mar 25th 2012 2:44PM Wanted to point out, for those that aren't aware, that when you are "saving" names now, we have quite a bit longer to wait before that name is free for use with other accounts. Once a name is associated with an account, even after deletion, instead of one hour, the name is reserved for NINETY (yes 90!) DAYS. So if you plan to save the name with a free account, count on relinquishing it 3 months before you are going to be using it to create your pandaren, or whatever your monk of choice will be.
Mar 24th 2012 8:50AM I don't have any particular naming conventions, although I am fond of Y names. ;) I usually just make a character and see what name strikes my fancy. I'll have to see what my panda looks like before I can give her a name, basically. I like to pick something feminine and in keeping with the naming conventions of their particular race. I usually try to make something unconventional and unique by slightly tweaking another feminine name.
Mar 24th 2012 8:39AM You won't be able to sent a scroll if you don't have an active account. You have to either send it from in-game (which would mean your account has been activated,) or from the website. If your account is inactive, it does not show that you have any eligible characters to send out a scroll. One of you will have to activate, or else have a third party resurrect both of you. Depends on if you want to do it for the mount or the other perks.
Mar 24th 2012 8:35AM Copied over from the battle.net site:
As a reward for inviting your friend back to the game, we are offering a free Spectral Gryphon for Alliance characters or a Spectral Wind Rider for Horde characters, which you’ll receive once your resurrected friend purchases at least 30 days of game time. You’ll find your beautifully translucent reward mount(s) waiting for you in the Battle.net Account Management site, under “Referrals & Rewards -- History/Status.”
This doesn't put any kind of limitation on *when* your friend purchases the 30 days of game time specifically, but I'm guessing the sooner they can re-subscribe, the better.
Mar 24th 2012 8:31AM Yes, it won't even attempt to charge his card until after his free week of game time, so either it just hasn't sent the payment through yet, or there is an issue with his card.
Mar 24th 2012 8:29AM Yes, you can do this. My friends and I did it the other day. One of us had an annual pass, so she created a character on a new server and sent a scroll to me from that character. Then I sent a scroll on to another friend and so on. We all play on the new server together, and all of us brought over a high level toon from our old server.
