Guildwatch: More common than you think {WoW}

Oct 28th 2009 7:21PM Hmmm... No link love for Pendulum on SoE, huh? Well, it's www.pendulum-guild.com for the interested. We're recruiting!

The Queue: Naptime {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2009 5:43PM So, I've been thinking about this whole LFG system and I realized just how easily players could wind up getting griefed by people from various other servers.

Imagine if your "tank" was actually a boomkin who decided to check himself off as a tank. Imagine if your "healer" was a shadow priest with no healing spec.

Imagine how bad this could get... because mark my words, people will do exactly that.

Patch 3.3 PTR: New LFG interface {WoW}

Oct 21st 2009 8:08PM Hmmm.... Normally, I'd be a little leary of running with a complete and total pug, without even having them be from my server...

However, the prospect of getting as much as 884g (13 dungeons, 68g each) every day, plus the 51 badges and whatever vendorable loot you get...

I think I may actually *use* this system! I mean, it can't really be much worse than pugging on my own server, I've just got a lot larger group to pug with.

So, another question that comes to mind is the summoning stones. How does that work in cross-server LFG? Do the players get insta-ported to the dungeon, or do they have to all make their way to whatever dungeon the system chooses for them, and then zone in?

How does that work?

Breakfast Topic: They just don't get it... {WoW}

Oct 19th 2009 9:04PM Actually, Alfred's last name was Pennyworth.

The Penguin, however, was Oswald Cobblepot.

Right in that it's a Batman reference... you just missed a key factor.

Oct 14th 2009 8:24PM Imperia's doing Uldaman Hard Modes? Now *that's* intense raiding right there.

Patch 3.3 PTR: Undocumented Paladin changes {WoW}

Oct 2nd 2009 6:17PM Well, since holy wrath is incredibly useful as a stun more than as a damage-dealing spell, I think the old bar-bloat issue may come back into play here...

Granted, if a massive aoe-stun to undead costs me less mana because it's dealing less holy damage, I'm fine with it.
