Patch 3.3: Icecrown raid preview {WoW}

Oct 7th 2009 9:42AM Yeah, I was thinking about that too.

Perhaps Blizz will introduce the first role-specific attunementquest. Such as requiring the tanks to do something to make themselves immune to the soulsucking blade that is Frostmourne. Some enchantment to the armor? Some sort of permanent blessing through some ritual? Perhaps connected with lights hope in epl (under which was buried something that weakened even the Lich King during the end of the epic DK starting area quests). Or perhaps something happens in one of the new instances, such as the soulforge, that makes all players immune to soulsuckage (the three instances was, after what I came to understand, mandatory to progress to the raidinstance).

On a different note: Saurfang's soul + Bolvar's body... naming contest! I would go for Saurvar. Or perhaps Bolfang?

By the way, the thing about the "bug" where some people could understand the draconic language spoken by Alexstraza after the wrathgate-incident: Blizzard likes to play with our imagination to immerse us even further into the game. How about Blizzard _intentionally_ placing that "bug" on some players, being certain that rumors would arise. After all, why would they bother adding that message behind the draconic gobbletygook if nobody ever was supposed to see what was said anyway? They _wanted_ that bit to leak out. It just plays into the mystery and speculation concerning Bolvar's death (or undeath).

The dragons burned Bolvar, apparently. Perhaps we have some connection to the paladin-questline in northeastern icecrown where he was burned by Alexstraza's fire. The red dragon fire spawns life. Perhaps Alexstraza knew that the Lich King would try to turn Bolvar, and that if she burned his body, she would plant a seed which would 1) redeem Bolvar (and possibly Saurfangs soul, if it is fused with Bolvars body), 2) somehow perhaps affect the Lich King at the final showdown (face it: Arthas has quite a few powerful and angry enemies, and his demise will probably involve everyone get a swing at him).

Fusing of Bolvar's body and Saurfang's soul, red dragon fire&the questline in northeastern icecrown concerning a dying plagued paladin, whatever is under light's hope in epl... I am looking forward to finding out what really is going on here.
