World of Warcraft subscriber numbers dip 100,000 to 10.2 million {WoW}

Feb 9th 2012 6:05PM Ugh, meant this as a reply to an earlier post.
Off to the corner of shame...

World of Warcraft subscriber numbers dip 100,000 to 10.2 million {WoW}

Feb 9th 2012 6:01PM That's all well and good, but you've managed to type out alot of information with a defensive tone and miss my point entirely. ToR's a new game, remember when WoW launched? I do, we certainly didn't have an easy ride, the forums weren't glittering with praise and Everquest loyalists weren't screaming that the end was nigh.
Also as for "You ALL" I have an active WoW and ToR subscription, these two games want to compete against each other by giving players the better game that's fine by me. I'm not going to pick a side, I win either way.

Feb 9th 2012 5:21PM Just to clarify, these numbers include up to the 31st of December 2011; however ToR was released on the 22nd of December, 3 days away from christmas and in all a pretty difficult time to get hold of any video game unless you preordered. Either way, I find it rather short sighted to judge ToR's impact on WoW subscriptions on 9 days of sale.

Feb 9th 2012 5:01PM then down to 10.3 million in November of 2011

ToR wasn't released until December.

The Queue: The last Friday, the last weekend, the last kiss {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2010 2:07PM Once you pay for a racechange that character becomes unplayable, so I wouldn't recommend you do that anyway.

As for your actual question, AFAIK there's no time limit, but I could be wrong.

The Queue: Dala-ran out of portals {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 1:57PM Oh, now I see where I got it wrong, I didn't really take into account
the Garithos thing as part of it, I always assumed that all the High
elves would have happily left the alliance due to their treatment.
(being imprisoned and what not)
I always assumed it took place during some recovery time in Silvermoon
after Arthas had ransacked the place and Kael'thas had buggered off to
Outland, some high elves thought "I'm not down with this whole demon
energy, Illidan thing" and that's when it happened.
Thanks for clearing that up, Mike.

Sep 27th 2010 1:43PM Why is this here? *Sigh*
Should be a reply to my own comment..
Consider my "ffs comment system" cherry popped.

The Queue: Dala-ran out of portals {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 1:42PM I thought the sepeartion was partly due to Kael'thas "we need demons" policy and not just a political one, been a long time since I checked up though, thus my confusion.
Thanks for clearing it up though, sadly (in my opinion anyway) it seems the 'High elves 2.0' direction people seem to be speculating on the blood elves is much more likely to happen.

Though one would assume Wikipedia probably has that stuff too.
