Jan 30th 2012 7:42PM I quite enjoy LFR, I raid with my guild 3 nights a week and LFR gives me a chance to not only have a bit of fun, but it also makes me appreciate my guildies all the more :)
I'm normally pretty relaxed and forgiving of those who aren't as good (not saying I'm better than everyone here) as the bulk of the group. It is frustrating when it's a tank because that can have a big impact on the raid.
I was whispering a tank the other day who kept dying to fight mechanics, after explaining every fight in the run, I suggested (nicely) that before he tries to tank in the future that he reads the journal because it's a great tool. He took the feedback well (most probably because I defended him when the blame stick came out after a fight) and hopefully the next run he'll be more confident for it.
The other type of people I DO dislike is tards who spam meters, and not very well. On my disc priest for example they will spam heal meters and suggest to vote to kick me because my "heals" were low. It is usually one of the other healers who says that I'm Disc lol Ohh and I had one raid that a tard dps was qq'ing about my dps being low until again another healer said, um he's healing dude.
Good times my friends, good times
Jan 17th 2012 12:24AM I think you're being optimistic, when people choose LFR over joining a guild to see content, another subscriber who you want doesn't magically appear.
I know as GM of a 25man raiding guild, recruits have been few and far between in this tier and QUALITY recruits even more so.
We've survived (been touch and go at times) unlike many of the 25man guilds on Khaz'Goroth.
Don't get me wrong, I personally like LFR, but it doesnt make recruiting / raiding easier, with the exception of the availability of loot and the ability to 'try before we trial"
May 6th 2011 4:25PM I'm a little meh about the Druid ones.
relying on LB to bloom at the right time to be useful at all /whoop
Yes situationally ToL and LB a stack of people is probably going to be the best way to make use of it, but the time/cost of building it up to have it pop at the right time... wow
How many fights we have now that we have that much time to prepare for damage to have blooms land straight after AND not have the local shammy to get in first anyways?
May 3rd 2011 12:39AM New version of Recruitment Enhancement just went up :) I've tried in incorporate the things mentioned here as missing :)
May 2nd 2011 4:32PM Yeah one of my annoyances was not really remember who I had spoken too or mailed ingame :(
May 2nd 2011 2:41PM My addon is working on this one :) Hopefully will be a minmap icon :)
May 2nd 2011 2:35PM Yeah I've found that I cant really relay the information I would like applicants to have, nor can the applicants give me enough information to make a call on whether to recruit or not.
The idea is a good one, implementation fails a little, especially when dealing with higher level guilds whos recruitement processes are more complex.
I've been working on an addon that will hopefully allow easier communication and logging of that communication with applicants.
Apr 27th 2011 1:39PM We got a lot done Wed night (in AUS), Lots of funnies going on but we managed to pull through most of it relatively onscathed;
BWD - Cleared to Chim (pushing for HM kill)
BH - lol
Throne - Conclave, started on big Al but instance restart, then once instance was back up, server.
Lots of lag and d/c's though and a few people stuck on loading screens. Told everyone to disable skada/recount and all was a lot smoother
Apr 27th 2011 1:26PM Only way to repell a drop bear it to squirt it with toothpaste and wear old icecream containers on your head (my step dad had me and my sister doing exactly that walking through a forest when we were youngens)
Mar 18th 2011 12:54PM Sounds like a hot change!! Especially when gearing a nub 85 you just dinged
