Aug 30th 2011 11:32PM Dakiri,

Gah, forgot balanced comps. Yeah, they're actually the most historically successful compositions.

Blood Sport: How to start a new character for PvP, part 2 {WoW}

May 5th 2011 1:13PM Veni,

I think I typed out 1200 words in response to this question. I'm going to pull an audible and make this next week's discussion because apparently I have a ton to say about it, which I did not realize.

I'll give you a short answer now and a long answer next week.

Short Answer: Keeping your DPS high while being focused is almost entirely based on understanding what's going on with the big picture of arena. If you know that the enemy doesn't have much burst potential left, or they're not in a position to kill you, you can play much more offensively and you might actually do more damage than you normally do.

For instance, when an enemy warrior is attempting to kill you, he isn't going to be pummeling your Haunt. You might not be able to get a Haunt off any other time in the battle except when the enemy team believes they can kill you, but they really can't.

Stay tuned for the long version coming soon!

Blood Sport: PvP keybindings -- ESDF and roaming index finger variants {WoW}

Mar 8th 2011 11:13PM Pyromelter,

Tool's creative instrumentals and complex meters are pretty awesome, but Maynard's vocals are nothing compared to Houston's. On the other hand, most of what Whitney Houston sings is pretty wish-washy musically, but her incredible voice makes up for it.

I've already featured Tool, I figured I'd go with Whitney Houston for today's article.

Besides, if Whitney Houston sang a Tool song, the universe would implode due to sheer awesomeness on all fronts.

Blood Sport: A guide to PvP keybinding {WoW}

Feb 22nd 2011 7:53PM Tim,

You might consider the R key to be a more valuable bind than the average WoW player because your movement keys are Q, W, and E. R is just right of E, similarly how F is just to the right of D.

I debated having R as a green key when making this guide up, but I have to draw the line somewhere. You could make an argument for Tab, Z, X, and C all being green. I personally have found most players tend to have spammable abilities above and directly around their movement keys, not below or diagonal to them.

I'll go over interrupt keys and most of the things you mentioned in next week's article.

Thanks for the comment,

Blood Sport: How to cultivate successful PvP attitudes, part 2 {WoW}

Feb 9th 2011 3:14AM Hammyfan2,

We play stuff like Eye of the Tiger, Don't Stop Believing, and stuff from the Rocky soundtracks when we're in the middle of a small losing streak. It's intentionally cheesy. Pumps us up. :)
