Spiritual Guidance: The sweet 40 - 60 {WoW}
Sep 28th 2008 8:52PM while leveling, i healed every single instance 1-70 as full shadow spec (with 3/3 meditation, of course).
E V E R Y I N S T A N C E. with no problems at all.
anyone who puts a single point in holy before their late 60's is wasting their time.
that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

Apr 10th 2008 12:00PM sure i'd love to rez john lennon and jimi hendrix, who wouldnt? BUT----

Breakfast Topic: Insane luck {WoW}
Apr 6th 2008 1:16PM my gf had uncanny luck. (when she still played.)
she got around 20 really good BOE blues during the course of leveling her warlock, she got at least one - usually two - greens to drop every time she did a quest, and she got the epic staff in BRD when she was 50...
she had 1k gold sitting in her bags when she got to outland and never leveled a profession past a skill of 3.
me? well i have the kind of luck where i pug BM and the SHADOW priest rolls "need" on the healing trinket and i lose... 10 runs later and i haven't seen it since.
needless to say most of my gear is crafted...

Activision CEO talks about in-game advertising... is WoW next? {WoW}
Mar 7th 2008 2:12PM i could see there being a "free" option to wow, where the player pays no monthly fee but must endure advertisements... i.e. forced to watch a movie trailer before logging in to the server, load screens say Pepsi on them, LOST banners on character/quest windows, random tells from "aol moviefone", stuff like that. it would open the game up to a lot of people i know who would play the game, but are too cheap to cough up the monthly fee. maybe even free users would also not be able to use add-ons or enter battlegrounds (or even instances...!), to make it really worth it to pay the monthly fee.
