May 30th 2011 3:37PM My first and only main was my Forsaken Warlock, who I have stayed with from when I started in Vanilla. I used to RP often (not as much recently), but as I roleplayed, my mind would try to emulate my characters, to understand how they would think, and this mindset eventually stuck to whenever I played them. As I once planned an event which would result in the deaths of twenty blood elves by bringing Scourge mobs to a city using "Blight", the excitement in my head was the same as would be my character's. I planned with four other people, and when the clock said 15 minutes till showtime, I got a nosebleed.
No lie, no joke.
My nose started bleeding from excitement.
While I mainly play Forsaken (who hate anything alive), I've gone with a couple "Scarlet Crusaders", where I try to be such a bigot, I have to force myself to believe what I'm saying, no matter how ridiculous it is. Yes, anyone who doesn't side with us could be manipulated by the Scourge. Yes, anyone who isn't human is a demon in disguise. Yes, I justifiably led ten blue goat-demons to their deaths.
I am my character, whoever they may be.

Feb 14th 2011 5:26PM I say,
However, when I get an achievement, they reply back...
Jan 31st 2011 3:52PM I was a cocky 80 in Vash'jir, I had taken down the opposition 4v1, including a few 85s.
Then, out of nowhere, another three 85s appeared.
I only killed two of them.
Jan 11th 2011 9:59PM Actually, I go spriest-affliction for 2s, but I remember using it in wrath against those healers who were always there, always causing trouble.
Simplifying situational things, I guess I understand what they're trying to do, but I still don't like it : /. Without detect invis, I no longer can see the ghosts hanging around the Undercity, random mobs, and have fodder for a mage to spellsteal ('cept for unending breath).
Although it's situational, and useless to most, I still enjoyed it : | ....
Jan 11th 2011 8:25PM This post made me think again, I was pretty callous about checking the challenges until I hopped on the forums the other day (Lock Changes), and now that I think about it, drain mana was never mentioned in complaints or responses.
Taking away my detect demons, detect invisibility, kinda annoyed me.
Now that I think about this more and read your article, the drain mana change DOES make the game more shallow. I was thinking under the mentality of "how normal arena is supposed to be" previously, but I now realize what a mistake I was making, as I should have thought "how great arena can be".
Plus, love the song. And Alice (Upular Too).
