Interview: BioWare's Greg Zeschuk on Dragon Age, DLC, and more {Joystiq}

Nov 27th 2009 5:18PM Great interview. I like the insight into their development process.

I'm curious about this MMO talk though. I would prefer they keep working on good single player games and maybe introduce co-op or party style RPG's than a MMORPG... But I guess they have enough teams to work on all of them, plus if they made a cash cow even half as successful as WOW it would keep a good studio around for a long time.

Call of Duty now a $3 billion franchise {Joystiq}

Nov 27th 2009 5:15PM I read it as a joke/sad fact of life relevant to comparing COD's sales to their GDP. If you feel guilty about that it may be your own conscience telling you something.

Steam Deals Day Two: KOTOR, Dead Space, L4D2 discounted {Joystiq}

Nov 27th 2009 5:13PM Definitely. Great characters with fun environments and story.

The combat was a little clunky but I enjoyed it. I think I played through once as the warrior kind of class and another time as the hybrid warrior/force type. I'd recommend not going pure warrior if you want to do more than just click enemies and wait for them to die.

Aliens vs. Predator multiplayer trailer watches your back, stabs it {Joystiq}

Nov 27th 2009 5:10PM Looks awesome. I have enjoyed the past AVP games and it seems like a pretty reliable and easy formula to develop around, can't wait to stalk some people in heat vision hehe

iPhone worm author really goes to work {TUAW.com}

Nov 26th 2009 4:44PM Seems more like a practical joke than malware... I mean wasn't his rickroll thing just a mass log-in and wallpaper change to anyone dumb enough not to change from the default password once they jailbroke their phones?

Congrats to him if he got a real job from doing something so ridiculous. He didn't hurt anyone and hopefully those people learned a lesson about not using a default password after they install something.

Xbox 360 Elegant Edition shows Microsoft how it's done {Engadget}

Nov 26th 2009 4:41PM I like their main idea here of going minimalist but I wouldn't call it elegant. It's way too thick and the power button looks weird.

I think if they mounted the 120mm's on the top of the case instead of the size they could have made it thinner but still had good cooling.

Nov 26th 2009 4:38PM @DogStar

Yeah I agree. They could have made it a lot more aesthetically pleasing if they pushed it to the side or something.

Top Gear team builds EV, shows how complex car production really is {Engadget}

Nov 26th 2009 4:37PM I love how at 30mph it looks like the car is going to fall apart and at 50 it sounds like when a plane gets shot down in movies hahaha

Apple's Black Friday deals hit Australia site, same as it ever was (update: US and UK too) {Engadget}

Nov 26th 2009 4:35PM About the same as last year. Nice for anyone who was thinking of getting iPods for the holidays I guess.

Smart on Apple's part... It's barely a discount but probably enough to push a few extra people over the edge to make the purchase.

Here come some new challengers in this Super Street Fighter IV trailer {Joystiq}

Nov 26th 2009 4:30PM Yeah I think I'm most looking forward to him coming back.

I wish his voice was more like SSF2 though, he sounds more average now like everyone else in the series. Nothing like a bunch of nasally MAX OUT and noooooo-noooo-noooo
