Breakfast Topic: Will you be buying either of the new vanity pets? {WoW}

Nov 30th 2010 8:51AM You're in for a surprise then: 0% of the Lil'Ragnaros sales go to charity. And only 50% of the Moonkin pet sales.

Feeling charitable now?

Nice fact checking guys. Just reading the blue post would've fixed it. Only 50% of the Moonkin is for charity and not a cent of the Lil'Ragnaros. At least edit the original article, you're giving people the wrong idea.

Awesome.

I guess your ads only pay when they're accessed from those two countries too (excluding Quebec).

Breakfast Topic: What are you doing to protect your account? {WoW}

Jan 18th 2010 9:21AM And also, shouldn't mobile authenticators be free? Why are they charging for them too? Why is it that I have to pay extra to secure my account? It feels as if they were blackmailing me.

Why didn't we hear about this problem before the battle.net merge? Wasn't that supposed to improve security also? Were there less accounts being stolen before or were they just hifding this issue? Some of us thought that having our email accounts as login names was a step back in the safety of our WoW accounts, but not many people cared then.

Breakfast Topic: What are you doing to protect your account? {WoW}

Jan 18th 2010 9:01AM "If you don't have an authenticator, how come? It's only about the price of a grande Starbucks drink, and will provide a longer-lasting effect of happiness and joy to your life."

Maybe where you live it's that cheap, add international shipping and it will get pretty expensive. Not only is Blizzard putting the burden of securing the accounts on the user but it is also charging us for it. My bank takes a lot less money from me (it even gives me a little back every month) and they gave me one for free. And I believe Blizzard makes a bit more money than my mid-town humble bank.
