Mar 10th 2008 3:34PM Bolvar is an idiot. Mis-management, lies and empty promises left right and center as can be seen by level 10-20 quest chains in elwynn forrest, redridge, westfall and duskwood. Cluelessness as to what's happening under his very nose as can be seen by the alliance Onyxia attunement chain. He's the worst person to put in charge of all alliance.
If anything my vote would go to Jaina Proudmoore or Stitches.
Jan 23rd 2008 2:54PM Reminds me of December '04, a friend had given me the trial key from her game and convinced me to give it a try. I rolled a lowly NE Hunter not to be a legolas, but because I had been reading the books that came with the game and that class/race seemed to suit what I wanted the best. Levelled up to 5 and left the NE starting area. The first town I come across had slightly different buildings so I was a little ... cautious. Then, I see this HUGE tree walking up towards me. "RUN AWAY!!!!" 10 deaths later I had skirted around the outside of that town safe and in once piece. Made my way to Teldrassil, only to find more of them. I figured I'd just do a death run right at it. It didn't attack? What? These huge scary things are friendly?
Embarrased at my stupidity and with my tail between my legs, I made my way back to the last town and continued questing/levelling.
Jan 20th 2008 2:46PM Being in Australia, prime raiding and instance time is smack bank in the middle of honour rollover. Last night was great, one of the cleanest and smoothest Aran takedowns ever, screwed over by honour rollover. What can you do when everyone but the NPC suffers terrible lag? >:(
Jan 11th 2008 6:00PM I see all those colours clear as day on all my pets all the time from white ones to black worgs. It's so clear that I get a bit of a firight when I have bestial wrath active (bright red above) and Kill Command executes (a lighter red much closer to the animal's normal skin), making me think Bestial Wrath is fading early.
Jan 8th 2008 6:18PM Or for that matter how Enraged Earth Elementals become enraged ... unless they're lolcats.
Jan 8th 2008 6:17PM If you understand for lore reasons, then how about this? At hellfire ramparts the roots would need to travel through a LOT of stone and brickwork, ultimately destroying the location of 4 instances just to make it up to the mob you are trying to root. On a jetty such as the one in Auberdine the roots would have to break through the sand and seawater (and sea water isn't good for trees due to the salt) and break the lumber making up the jetty to work.
Of course, in the tradition of breaking my own arguments this would also mean roots wouldn't work in Tanaris or Sifilus/Silithus - after all, have you seen a tree in either of these zones (other than on the coast of Tanaris, that is)?
Jan 1st 2008 6:14PM I think there's something else at play here. His managers must be alliance.
Dec 20th 2007 10:07PM I think you'll find you're in for a bit of a shock when you enter the real world. I highly doubt there'd be a single company, government or public servant that doesn't misrepresent themselves and like to the public. If you're going to snob one company for it, be prepared to become a hermit for the rest of your life.
