Love, raiding, and everything in between: how women are taking charge in WoW {WoW}

Mar 1st 2010 9:08PM I wish more of you were on my server. I've been called stupid, a bitch, whore, etc. I've been yelled at for things I'm not doing (ex: tank couldn't hold aggro so I got yelled at to turn pet growl off - except I had it on auto-cower in dungeons, like I'm supposed to), been given "advice" that I didn't ask for (and that is often wrong) from people who don't play my class, had vent conversations and chats take a drastic turn when they realize I'm a girl (so I often don't speak unless I absolutely have to), had people tell me I must be on my period, etc. Some WoW players are just miserable, so I solo a lot.

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for hunters {WoW}

Mar 1st 2010 8:51PM Sweet. Should be interesting.

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for hunters {WoW}

Mar 1st 2010 8:22PM Thanks for the article. I'm still unclear though, and forgive me if this is stupid and I missed it, but I assume the gear and focus changes happening at the same time, yes? All I'm worried about is some weird delay between the 2.

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for hunters {WoW}

Mar 1st 2010 8:17PM Happens to me too all the time in heroics.

The Daily Blues: Special Cataclysm report {WoW}

Mar 1st 2010 2:49PM Still a bit confused on how useful/useless hunters are going to be between this change and Cataclysm. We have to also learn how to deal with focus instead of mana, but that change comes later (right?) so...I guess my dps is going to be in the dumps in the meantime?

Breakfast Topic: A random topic {WoW}

Feb 26th 2010 8:20PM "The speed boost is just too good to limit it to a few "elites" (READ: lucky people), giving them a game affecting edge."

This. Why is someone who is luckier more deserving of their violet drake than someone else? Answer: They aren't. They both worked just as hard, but one happened to be luckier. For a YEAR's worth of work, that's BS.

Breakfast Topic: A random topic {WoW}

Feb 26th 2010 3:20PM I like PVP. But it's what they require that turns people off of this achievement. They could at least require something that happens in a typical BG or something that is relatively even across players. Return a *fallen* flag, though? That is way specific and not an equal challenge to all classes. That part of the achievement alone might as well be RNG for all the things that have to fall into place.

One year's work is all for nothing over one part of one achievement in one holiday (that is only one week long!) if you can't manage to get it. IMHO if you put in a year's time and work to get this mount, you should be able to get it. And some people just can't get this.

Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Random dungeons are being watched {WoW}

Feb 24th 2010 8:16PM Hmm...I'm wondering how "abandoning" will be perceived given that some people leave the group high and dry and then others are like "well I guess this is done" and quit, too.

Patch 3.3.3 PTR patch notes [Updated] {WoW}

Feb 19th 2010 6:28PM Actually I just realized my own stupidity - I'm assuming then that this means 1 kill per queue...hmmm...

Patch 3.3.3 PTR patch notes [Updated] {WoW}

Feb 19th 2010 6:26PM Lute - well now you can 3-man with 2 extra spawns...5 kills, no waiting.
