I understand the need for gold sinks in WoW, its a economy with a infinite currency, but from what i have seen on my time on the boards is people have a issue with paying for something they have already paid for, kinda like dmv registration, blizzard did away with a lot of gold sinks regents for spells etc because the clogged bags required players to remember them etc.

probably going to get a lot of flack for this but what about lowering or getting rid of these huge one time gold sinks and just up the amount of gold needed for repairs, take a larger cut from the AH, (which would probably increase the player to player transaction which blizzard is always stating they want to promote) bring back regents but put them on a tab sheet like they did with honor and badges.

just ideas but people seem not to notice/be less adverse to small amounts of cash vs larger amounts even when the smaller amounts eventually add up to more

and this is coming from a guy with 5 80s all with epic flying cold weather and dual spec ;)

Sep 20th 2010 4:12PM and here in lies the cause of gold famers, people dont look at long term hey ill get it as i go on each toon, its ZOMG 65,00 gold!!!!!! and most people have a instant gratitude- short term mindset so they type "WoW gold" into their google seach bar and its all down here from there.
