Sep 13th 2010 12:06PM When should we expect to see the cinematic for Cataclysm?
Historically, how much of a difference in time is there between the release of the cinematic, the in-game event leading up to the release patch (and can we consider the echo isles/gnomergan events to be those), the expansion patch, and the actual expansion release?
Sep 7th 2010 3:38PM With the new focus on battlegrounds for end-game, and the modifications to the new player experience, has Blizzard made any changes to the honor-purchased gear from the 1-60 experience. Certain items (such as the one-handed sword from WSG) have very limited use for players, while the knight-captain/bloodguard set (little brother to the Grand Marshal/High Warlord set) is completely useless. There are also a number of items available only at level 60 which are completely useless to players, as their stats are lower than comparitive outland gear.
Ideally, I think that rather than retire it all, they should relevel it all so that it can be purchased while leveling, with the levels for all the but the warlord gear dropped to pre-40, and the bloodguard gear spread into the 40-50 range, with the warlord gear moved to 51-60.
This would give something to all the players that like to level through pvp, without having to come up with new art for anything (except perhaps a 2-hander, unless they move the unstoppable force http://www.wowhead.com/item=19323 over to another vendor (and lower the level)

Aug 28th 2010 6:05PM Will the SEED program, for submitting topics and articles when you're looking for them ever be available outside the U.S.? There are most certainly many (myself included), that live outside the U.S., and have good ideas for articles and breakfast topics, but can't submit them.
Aug 20th 2010 5:04PM Not neccessarily a different situation. There are numerous example of exceptional individuals who retained their strength and individuality upon joining the scourge, even in the begining. The early Deathknights, ghoul lords like Horgus, are examples of such individuals. Bridenbad as undead would have been more than just the tragedy of a brave soul falling to corruption. He would likely have been as dangerous as any of the bosses in any of the undead-type dungeons, perhaps more so
Aug 16th 2010 4:02PM I still keep the tea with sugar reward you get for completing the quest on my main at all times to remind me of this quest. Also, this song was what prompted me to go on and do Loremaster, though after it all, there still isn't anything in the game that compares to the sad little ghost girl

Jul 21st 2010 6:27PM Ok, so as a fresh 80, I hop into the random (non-heroic) dungeon interface and queue up for a random (need to gear up a bit more before i do heroics). As a tank, I get in within 3 minutes. It's Occulus. Not my favorite, but whatever. It's not that bad really. Within the first 10 seconds 2 of the group, including the healer have dropped.
I figure, fine whatever. I'll drop out and maybe get a different dungeon next time. But NO! I'm on a dungeon cooldown timer. I have to wait 15 minutes before I can queue again. Well that sucks, but whatever.
Then it strikes me. Those DPS could have been waiting up to 30 minutes to get into a dungeon (average i see when i play dps is 18-30 minutes). With this cooldown, it could be another 45 minutes to get into a random, meaning 51- 85 minutes just to do one dungeon.
While I can understand punishing people for jumping ship because they don't want to do an instance, punishing the other players when the group falls apart seems a bit much. Has Blizz ever commented on this before?
