If you're puggin', you would have to use the "exist" syntax since one of the two tanks always seems to be dead anyway.
May 27th 2011 1:09PM The biggest change that this will have for hunters is that they will have less pet micro-management on fights that require pet switching. The hunter can set the pet on Assist and switch targets without the use of a macro. This would be helpful for something like Omnicron Defense. However, this is more to help the learning curve for new hunters as experienced hunters should be using a macro to assign their pets for a quicker response in those situations. In the case of fights like Omnicron, using the macro would significantly reduce the amount of damage that your pet takes out of the shield since it is not sitting there for X amount of time attacking until it gets the idea to switch.
Mar 4th 2011 12:46PM Is 4.1 going to bring any epic ranged weapon recipes for engineers?
Jan 20th 2011 3:44PM Agility. It is, by far, our greatest stat in Cata. Don't gem hit since a lot of fear has a good amount already and you can reforge lesser stats (mastery) instead of taking up a precious gem slot.
Jan 7th 2011 5:44PM As a hunter, I can confirm that these are NOT hunter trinkets. If you roll need on these items, go to the nearest capital city and turn in your bow/gun for a pair of daggers and some poison.
Dec 24th 2010 11:15AM Frost wrote a couple articles about secondary stats on his site. www.warcrafthuntersunion.com. I suggest you go over there and check them out. They are great!
Dec 23rd 2010 1:54PM I don't think Blizz screwed JCs. It looks like the same it was in wrath to me. I log on my JC, do a daily, log off. Nothing has changed on that front. Crafting professions require more work to level than gathering professions, that's just the way it is. However, those who know how to work the market can make a killing on crafted items if they make the right thing for the right market. Also, if you plan to use the crafted item, putting some work into getting the pattern and mats is only fair. If they just let you have all the plans from the get-go, then you wouldn't have to think about what would be best for your goal (rather that be supporting a main, supporting the guild, selling cuts on the market, etc).
Dec 23rd 2010 1:44PM The RDF tool assumes that you don't care where in the instance the core group is when you get invited to run. In order to make sure that you run the full dungeon, you will need to queue specifically for that dungeon instead of using the random finder. You won't get the reward for doing it through the tool, but you can make sure to start from the beginning each time.
Jul 27th 2010 6:50PM Even if landslide procs off ranged attacks, I would still take massacre. A constant 110 AP is better than an 120 AP uptime for 10 seconds. Now, if it is 1200 AP, that might be another matter (depending on the math). Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Blizz makes some better enchants for ranged weapons to offset the fact that hunters don't (and should NEVER) melee their targets.
Jul 27th 2010 12:24PM Yeah! The more mounts the better!
