Sep 27th 2011 2:08PM @Natsumi,

Titan is already the 4th IP. I meant 4th game currently in development at this time. Even that count is a little outdated at this point now.

They are currently working on: WoW Ex4, SC2:HotS, D3, next gen MMO (Titan), unannounced game title (per their careers page)

Sep 27th 2011 11:20AM @Bellajtok: did i miss a leak or something? We dont know much at all about what's going on at blizzcon other than they'll be discussing world of warcraft, diablo 3, and starcraft 2: Heart of the swarm.

We dont know who the band is going to be, we dont know much about Heart of the swarm (certainly not anything about the multiplayer changes), there's still lots of details to discuss about D3 like the cash auction and maybe a release date by oct, plus thoughts about expansions, and while we heard one thing (that im aware of) about mists and pandarens, we really have no idea if that's a whole expansion or part of the new one or a new comic or what. Does that mean we get pandaran as a race choice, or monk as a class choice or both?

Plus there's always the potential for movie news and Titan news (maybe even news on the mysterious 4th game they're hiring up for).

Jan 15th 2011 1:46PM Re: Color of gear

I'd agree that green/blue/purple doesnt mean exactly what it used to in classic wow, but I actually use them as an indicator of what i should be wearing while leveling.

When i get a blue drop or a blue quest reward, I make sure to take a second look at it and the stats it's giving me. Im assuming that the devs made it blue because they want me to wear it and it's been my experience that blue items are usually itemized a little better for doing dungeons and heroics than greens. Purples are usually itemized a little better for raiding and heroics than blues.

I think at this point it's just one more small signpost to help people who dont read the latest theorycraft figure out what they should be wearing.

Dec 2nd 2010 2:55PM Where's all that horde pride now?? Go Alliance!

I've been tossing around "Unite and Fight!" as an alliance battlecry. It's chantable, speaks to the alliance's nature and isnt derivative of the horde one. Unfortunately, all my alliance friends went horde so it hasnt caught on the way i hoped :T

Nov 14th 2010 11:09AM I migrated to wow from swg after seeing my girlfriend swim underwater to a sunken boat. But I started losing steam around 45. Wasn't that I wasn't enjoying the game it was just long.

Then they announced Blizzcon. We live close so we got tickets (only 9k people that year and I'm not sure they even sold out) and once we were there I started seeing all the raiding stuff and AQ and did a battleground match with a friends guild that was there and wow. I wanted to be 60 and go to blackwing lair!

But what really put me on the path to obsession was my mage's new best friend: Murky! Hes so cute and makes noises. Leveling was a breeze with him around.

Oct 7th 2010 4:43PM We've had a bunch of big mmo's go free to play in the last few months, several others have never gained any traction. Eve online has always put out free expansions and the next generation of MMO's are going free to play micro trans (clone wars adventures comes to mind).

World of Warcraft, Everquest and Lord of the Rings (who went free to play) are really the only ones successfully selling expansions at this point arent they?
