Apr 24th 2010 11:03AM What about the Ancients? Always wanted to be a huge gnarly tree [grin.] And just to say "Gnarl" for one time as an answer to everything: AWESOME.
Nov 15th 2009 9:49AM Uhm. Yeah. I might reconsider the dwarven-beards-idea. Still, they look hippiesque in a way, which is still something that ties in with the whole idea of night-elves being the tree-hugger faction.
Nov 15th 2009 9:44AM Though I love the idea of introducing Terry Pratchett's ideas into WOW - I doubt that Blizzards sense of irony goes that far… Pandas and Hemet Nesingwary aside, it might just be a bit too close to the core of the lore ;)
Nov 15th 2009 9:40AM Wanna have more hippy-style haircuts for the night elves!
I mean, they're supposed to be the alternative whatnot race in WOW; they even got a PETA now and with all that Greenpeace-like behaviour which doesn't even grant them some real armor but something that looks like feather's and dirt most of the time (well, lets forget about the tier-stuff for a sec - that's just awful in its very special way)… uhm, getting to the point: they need to become more Woodstocky ;)
Let's give them a:
- Jimmie-Hendrix-Affro + fitting braids
- some dreadlocks at least
- really long hair, which at least covers half of your back (though I'm not actually sure how that'll work with capes ;)
- bushy dwarven beards: just for the sake of it
Oct 27th 2009 8:01PM Still, Tim Burton is said to have a slightly sadistical approach towards the fate of his characters, isn't he?
Actually that thing reminds me more of some sort of diving equipment - sort of an eery undead aquanaut ;)
